I keep thinking 200 plus is crazy ex for an iphone repair and it’s super close to the price to buy one… and then I remembered that they literally sell iPhones at arnd 1.5-2k now 😭😭 My mind set is still thinking of 2016 when iphones were like 200-300
Th cheapest base se model (1st gen) in 2016 was £360. And it was not good. The actual IPhone cheapest model that year cost £600. The cheapest they ever release was around 275 and 300 but that was 2008-09! And those models were just slightly changed versions of the original which is why they did it cheap.
Think i heard him say that in one of his other videos. The customer had opted for the AfterMarket screen but turned out the Tech didn't realize he had run out so he gave them an official one instead for no extra charge.
when you do this 300x in your career your pretty precise. Generally yes you are correct, but im pretty sure hes picking at the negative side of the connector, causing no short even if he were to accidentally touch the pad. At the end of the day if you aren't a professional, dont do this. If you are one, time is money and you probably know what you are doing.
Hey real question cause I have a fully functional Iphone 11 pro that I had switched the battery because the screen popped up cause the ”glue” strip around the entire screen stopped working and the battery was just a thing they scammed me on to switch. But they glued it twice around the phone with normal ass glue, and it just popped back up again, is there a way to switch that out without replacing the screen? I ended up getting a new refurbished 13 pro iphone because it was getting too expensive to repair the 11 pro. What would you do? Also they managed to get glue behind the front camera so it was all yellow, they fixed it for free but oh man I wish I had never gone there now its just a mess and lays in my cabinet because it cant be exposed to any droplets or any dust since the screen has popped up (the screen is not bent)
iphone screens are not glued in, that strip around the screen is the dust/water seal. sounds like your battery has swelled, which pushes the screen out.
I want to see a pixel 6 pro screen replacement with the fingerprint reader under the screen. I just think it would be neat bc I haven't seen a video of someone transferring the reader from one screen to another that looks proper. Videos I have seen seem.... Fiddly, improper, and have poor form
I think I posted either a 6 or a 7, the easiest way to do this is to buy the genuine part with a new fingerprint module attached then recalibrate with googles software
@@iDoctorUK dude I can't tell you how much I appreciate you and your channel. It's so cool to see you being super nice to folks, fixing their phones, and how active you are in the comments. Y'all are some good people over there! Thank you so much!
@@iDoctorUK oh, I found the video, thanks! Dang I wish the official part with fp reader didn't cost so much. Google has been super disappointing lately with their official parts pricing and following Samsung with their 3rd hardware practices. Womp.. Thanks for everything you do, man! ❤️
