Fixing Total Drama Revenge of The Island 

ROTI defiantly has the most potential as a season. Obviously it would be better if it was 26 episodes, and i think they should have added some of the better characters from PI to add to the cast. I also think they should have fleshed out the characters more to make them fit in with the original cast, but some characters like Mike and Zoey could have had more personality and since Mike's DID/MPD was not represented well, they should have just split his personalities into different characters

Fun fact: staci actually wasn’t added as a filler character. In total drama reloaded (the original revenge of the island) she made it a lot further and got 6th place. You can look online and very easily find the elimination order for total drama reloaded and camp tv (the original total drama Island) Edit: I forgot to say, I looked it up again after this comment was made and she actually tied with Cameron for 3/4th place and made it to the semifinals!

I think they should’ve made a season 2 for ROTI so they can expand on the characters a lot more

After hearing that Staci was designed to just be a first boot. Does that mean that they created Ezekiel just to be a first boot too?

How to fix story of thing by NotAWriter, my favorite genre of video! 1. Ezekiel was also a fodder character in season 1. There were tons of fodder characters in the first season, but they got extra seasons to improve. Does that make Island a bad season? No. Some characters got far, others didn't sixteen to seventeen episodes would have been great for this season, but with what they had, I really don't think they did a bad job. 2. Uh... Dawn didn't do anything? What about the time she led her team in her elimination episode? Or helped her team win by coaching Dakota in the first part of the first challenge? What makes her a female DJ? They're nothing alike, at all. Again, TDI had several characters that were also underdeveloped, but it doesn't make Island a bad season. Characters don't need to save the planet and own 8 alliances to be likable or well written, just having a personality is good enough. You bring up B as a better character who should have done more, but he never speaks, has very little personality and your excuse for him needing to make it further is.. he's good in challenges. Being a good challenger doesn't make you a good character. Your solution is to make Dawn and B have an alliance but that's such a lazy and boring fix. They were already friends, and neither of them are really THAT strategic, so I don't see why they have to be strategic gods to be good characters. 3. I agree with what you said about Dakota, though I don't think her being spoiled makes her a badly written character at all. Also saying that Dakotazoid makes the show unrealistic and therefore ruins it is ridiculous when Total Drama has been unrealistic and cartoonish since season 1 episode 2. 4. Zeke wasn't that bad here. His jokes were funny and although the feral Zeke joke is entirely subjective and I don't really like it a lot either, it's not really Revenge's problem. Turning him back into a human would just be lazier too. 5. Your problem with Mike's multiple personalities isn't that they're horrible representations of DID, but instead that Vito and Svetlana are too strong...? What? Vito never comes through in challenges ever and Svetlana is a gymnast, her strength makes sense. You say that Mike should have told Zoey the truth, but dude, he does? It's a great scene, too, in a great episode. What a dumb complaint. 6. Anne Maria's elimination makes complete sense, has been foreshadowed in her fickle personality and vanity, and is hilarious. Not every character needs to die a martyr like Brick, who by the way is not underrated at all, everybody loves Brick. Anne Maria went out at the perfect time, there was no need to keep her in the show any longer. Zoey already had a feud plot with Scott going on in her elimination episode anyway, so clearly they thought ahead. 7. Say what you want about the toxic waste and mutants being gimmicky, I would much rather have a gimmick than another season on the island with zero to keep it fresh from the original. The film lot, jumbo jet, mutant aspects of the island and mechanical island all kept seasons 2-7 completely fresh, while the new seasons are once again kept on the same old island. Chris is also hilarious as always this season, and has been killing interns and being sadistic since Season 1 episode 2, yet nobody has an issue with that in Island. He continued being the best part of the show from Season 5 onward until the new seasons kinda messed him up. So in conclusion, you say that you'd fix ROTI by... adding "a lot more." and making characters have alliances with other characters. Genius. Thanks Mr. Notawriter!

The part i even liked was when the interns ignored Chris being stuck in the communalm washroom.

I honestly wished they added a few characters from Pahkitew Island and Molly. A scrapped character who never made it into the show. They could’ve added (from Pahkitew Island) Jasmine, Shaun, Skye and Dave. Well Dave when he was actually a decent character. I get that this would’ve shortened the Pahkitew cast but let’s just get rid of the whole concept of that season. Maybe give Skye some personality like how she’s good at challenges but also has to make strategic moves because she knows people see her as a threat: she then makes an alliance with Jo who is going to be the seasons main antagonist. Jo will convince everyone to vote out Dave excluding Skye and before he leaves he shares a kiss with Skye. Finally ending their relationship on a happy note. In the next episode, Skye and Jo have a large rivalry after she finds out what Jo did to Dave. The episode is a non-elimination episode but not filler as it explores the characters even more. The next episode is merge and Jo doesn’t need immunity because she has the Immunity Idol. Mike wins immunity due to Svetlana being in control for most of the challenge. Skye tells everyone of Jo’s evilness and they all vote her off. Little did they know, Jo had the idol and uses it on herself. She was the only person who voted for someone else. And that someone, was Skye. Jo wins immunity in the next episode and manipulates Shaun into voting Jasmine saying that she heard Jasmine talk about how he was dragging her down. Despite this, Shaun ends up leaving the island because of Jasmine being the most popular person. She wants to eliminate Jasmine yet can’t because she has won immunity. Jo tells Cameron that Mike and Zoey are going to most likely leave him seeing as he’s the weakest link which leads to Cameron being confused not knowing who he should trust. Jo confronts herself but says that she will make Cameron’s life a living nightmare if she votes him. Cameron, really scared of Jo, decides to vote Zoey much to Mike’s dismay. The final 3 is Jo, Brick and Jasmine. The challenge is to. Jo is the main protagonist and secretly likes Jo. The challenge is to show their best talent (like in Pahkitew) Jo sabotages Jasmine’s talent show which gets her eliminated. The finale is Brick vs Jo. Elimination order: 18th. Staci 17th. Sam 16th. Dakota 15th. Anne Maria 14th. Lightning 13th. B 12th. Dawn 11th. Scott 10th/9th. Molly/Dakota again Merge 8th. Dave 7th. Skye 6th. Shaun 5th. Zoey 4th. Cameron 3rd. Jasmine Runner-up. Jo Winner. Brick

How I think they should’ve done TDROTI -Episode: I agree that it too short for a season but I don’t think 26 episodes for a 13 casts wouldn’t be a good idea. For it will drag & will have so much filler. So I think 17 episodes will be enough. -Casts: The casts of characters is good but I don’t like how there 6 females & 7 males and the fact that the numbers of the teams are unbalanced. So let add one more female to the rat team & called her Molly. -Teams: Maggots: Cameron, Zoey, Mike, Jo, Brick, B & Dawn Rat: Lightning, Scott, Sam, Dakota, Anne Maria, Staci & Molly 1- Part 1 2- Part 2 Staci 3- Dakota 4- Molly (Dakota return as a intern) 5- Anne Maria 6- Sam (Dakota join the Rat team & Jo & Brick switch team) 7- Brick 8- Jo 9- Mike 10- Merge (no eliminate) 11- B 12- Dakota 13- Dawn 14- Scott 15- Zoey 16- Cameron vs Lighting 17- Special Episode -Side note: B & Dawn are a couple, Mike’s story are cut short, Dakota get more sense time, Zoey grow as a character, & Scott is more villainous

Bruh Chris derailment is one of the worst derailments in all of total drama

I agree on the less story-lines with minor characters. The very first flaw was exactly that the cast had odd numbers (13). How hard was it to add another one so the amount would've been equal to both teams? I can imagine Blaineley filling the spot for Mutant Maggots due of not having been on any single team prior to this season. Dawn got robbed horribly. I really wanted to see her going further into the competition and see her true potential that she can bring on the table. Ezekiel is a HUGE pain in the ass whenever he tries to get back. Hate Chris even more when he exposed Dakota to the toxic radiation. Which not only made her bald but also turned her into a hideous monster. Scott should focus more on winning rather than sabotaging his team each time he get's the chance. Glad it toned down in All-Stars. You also forgot to mention that the original cast made a cameo on episodes back-to-back, Izzy, Bridgette, Lindsay, Zombie-boy, Gwen, Duncan, Heather and DJ. In overall, this season is between mediocre and adequate. Good but it has it's minor flaws. Great video as always!

I really love some parts of revenge of the island and I also think other parts are just meh so sometime I put roti as number 2 in my rankings and other times it makes number 5

I think it's a good season and lightning winning was a good idea but I still wish that they had more characters or had a aftermath but I wish that Scott wins even know lightning win it's decent

They had three wasted characters (Brick, B, Dawn) Brick had his thing with Jo, they should've become a couple, honestly. Dawn has powers and she cares about nature. B is smart so he could've lasted a lot longer than he did. I feel like the writers don't pay attention to the characters and focus on their favorites.

I wish they’ve gone deeper into Mike multiple personality condition cause it’s really interesting to see nowadays like Jekyll and Hyde or Norman Osborn and Green Goblin. I enjoyed Mike, Staci, Joe, and the smart kid I liked

I like Revenge of the Island, Scott and Lighting HARD carried the season. RotI is one of my personal top 3 favorite seasons, but it DEFINITELY needed more episodes to flesh out more of its cast.

To be the best way in my eyes to fix both revenge all stars and pahkihtio is to merge the cast of revenge and pahkihtio And give some characters a slight personality change Shawn instead of zombie guy could have been a Hugh conspiracy theorist, ella instead of a princess wannabe a singer and actress and less delusional to think she could be friends with sugar when it's clear to everyone how sugar bullies her Topher could have been the perfect mole working for Chris to create drama in return for both reaching the finally and hooking him up with an agency to start a acting and hosting carrier Giving amy more personality than just an evil twin sister who probably would kill Sammy just to be an only child Sammy could have been (it's a bit dark) a bit on the suicidal side being tormented by her sister and neglected by her parents and have her comeback slowly to the healthy side and going against amy Beardo could have been a lot more Also if going by the head Canon of some fan have Rodney be Scott cousin and Scott use this relationship in order to advance You can even keep the island mutated than give this cast a 2nd season on pahkihtio and give them more development And after that have all stars after the island have been cleaned of toxic waste and have all the big favorites show again Also a relationship between sky and lightning could have worked so much better than sky and Dave

Here are my thoughts on revenge of the island: Yes it’s a likable season I like it okay but I still love the first 3 seasons the best! Yes they could have had more episodes as well plus some things I would change would be rewriting episode 2 of that season just by added Harold as a cameo since he was actually originally planed to be in that episode but for some reason the idea was scraped?! But my Thoghts on some of the characters would be, yes I agree dawn & B, as well as brick deserved more screen time, and would work for allstars! Also I didn’t not like the idea of Dakota being turned into a monster same goes for zeke!! Both characters were done dirty. The Stuff I didn’t like in that season were: Yes dakotazoid was one of them but there are more things I actually hated! Which was mikes elimination and how Scott treated him And that’s why I hate the episode grandchef Auto!! The way Scott treated Mike just by blackmailing him Was messed up! And I feel that episode is disrespectful to those who have any mental disorder and I feel extremely bad for those people. Also it reminded me of Duncan, & Harold dynamic and I also hate how Duncan treated Harold I just felt bad for Harold that’s why I like his character same goes for mike! And I didn’t like Stacy or Ann Maria they became my Least favorite obviously they were both really anoying in my opinion, they really ruined characters in revenge of the island and that’s why it’s ranked lower than the first 3 seasons put together, and I felt better about it in allstars im glad Mike won that season even though mal did most the work but I think Mike doing the work himself would make it feel more earned than just having mal stealing the show, and yes I’m Glad Scott was votted off in both the seasons he was in & has a redemption in allstars even though it was more of a downfall just by weakening his character just for Mal to be the main villain of allstars! So the stuff I liked about revenge of the island were: having some of the old characters come back as cameos for like one episode each almost, and the friendships that happend in that season, Mike, zoey, & Cameron, Dakota & Sam, dawn & B, & lightning & Joe rivalry was pretty good especially that both were villains and I like how villains become rivals and going off guard from distracting each other from winning! So those are some of my thoughts on revenge of the island I know some might sound a little negative but that’s all my thoughts on it, I’m just letting you know. 😁✌️
