I coached x pro gamer Nocturnoz to improve his aim by fixing one of his major issues in his aim, which was the tension in his grip. To do this I pulled on some old tricks and helped a lot. He saw massive improvements during and after the session.

This video was made by me, and I have aim coached professional multiple Valorant players, Radiants, Immortals, Apex Predators, a former professional Apex Legends Player, Overwatch Grandmasters, and many more. Aim warm up vs aim practice? Why YOU'RE Practicing wrong. Aim practice, aim training. How to warm up? How to practice aim? Am I practicing aim correctly. Why should you aim train? How should you aim train? What is the best way to aim train? What should I do while I'm aim training? How to aim train? What's the best way to train aim? You can use these tips to clutch more rounds and win more often. How do I become really good at aiming? What should I spend my aim trainer time doing? What is the best way to aim? This will help you get really good at static clicking. If you can't seem to hit targets this is probably why. The reason why your aim is bad is likely because you make one of these key mistakes that I discuss in this video. Many new players will miss shots after having a decent flick. This is because they make on of these mistakes. How to make micro adjustments is talked about in this video. The video will tell you how to have good aim. Learn to flick. Practice micro adjustment aim. Become better at aiming. Become good at aim. Learn better static clicking with this technique. What's the best way to be good at a game? How can you improve your aim faster? What's the best way to get good? Improve faster. Get better at Kovaak's FPS Aim Trainer. Why should you aim train? How should you aim train? What is the best way to aim train? Do you want better Voltaic (VT) or Revosect (rA) benchmarks? What is Pure G? What should I do while I'm aim training? How to aim train? What's the best way to train aim? How do I become really good at aiming? What should I spend my aim trainer time doing? What is the best way to aim? You can use this to get better in COD: Vanguard, Apex, Call of Duty: Warzone, CS:GO, Valorant, Aim Lab, Apex Legends, Kovaaks, Rainbow 6 Siege, Counter Strike: Global Offensive, R6S, or to improve at reactive tracking, static clicking, dynamic clicking, reaction time, improve at target switching and precise tracking. You'll be able to win more and rank up due to better aim. #aim #aimtraining #KovaaKs Win more gunfights, aim better, play better, get good at Valorant, become good, use aim lab better, aim better, be better. Why is my aim so bad in pc fps games? Fix your bad aim. Prevent pixel skipping, reduce latency and input delay. Improve at mnk aiming, by training yourself to be a better fps aimer and mouse and keyboard aimer. Optimize your training and optimize your improvement, and find yourself optimizing your training and optimizing improvement through aim training. Improve in game faster. Get good at games. Find yourself experiencing FPS aim improvement. Get better at playing Kovaak 2.0: The Meta. Get insane aim in every game. Become a better gamer and pc fps aimer. Learn mouse and keyboard faster.

hello west , a few months ago i watched your videos on raw accel i actually liked it very much but as i progessed in valorant ( i was a silver , it took me 6 months to reach plat ) when i reached diamond rank ( this was before the addition of the ascendant rank ) the difficulty to aim against my enemies had become extremely overwhelming excluding factors such as movement and positioning i just experience alot of shaky aim i am left handed but use my right hand to aim with my mouce i cant shift to left handed cuz its impossible on laptop my keyboard controls become unusable . Recently ive been experiencing issues with shaky hands and when i try to aim at moving targets i dont know what happens but like my hands just become impossible to move in small movements and i just get scared and struggle alot are there like any arm exercises you can recommend and is it possible for me to progress further as a left handed player who is using his right hand on the mouse

Without ever watching anyone's aim trainer or aim coaching sessions, I've just known that you're supposed to hold it as relaxed as possible. before and during games i have a little habit that I've started forming where I do a grip check to make sure there I am able to use exclusively my fingers and not my arm or my wrist to be able to move my mouse up down left right and in clockwise and counterclockwise circles while maintaining as little pressure as possible on it I try to make the circles go from really big to really small and once they're really really small I do a couple of tight circles and then switch from counterclockwise to clockwise or clockwise to counterclockwise and it really makes a big difference

I also find myself gripping the mouse really hard, especially when it's not a really good day for aiming and I keep losing my 1v1s etc so my aim gets progressively worse the harder I grip it. I read somewhere on reddit that to relax your grip, you should pick your mouse up with the least amount of strength needed to pick it up and then place it back on the mousepad and use that same amount of strength to grip it. Do it everytime you feel you're gripping your mouse too hard. It has helped me quite a bit.

the key is to relax the most (perfect: desk height + monitor height + arm resting + NO TENSION helps a LOT) - this is what I think about aiming, but anyways, even with all this wrong, the more you train, the more you have that muscle memory, so, any setup works). But in order to relax, you have to relax your mind first. Playing while anxious or fearful or while you are thinking about other things, is going to make you more tense and to mess up a lot your aiming and focus in the game). DON'T PLAY WHILE YOU ARE FEELING BAD, THIS IS GOING TO MAKE YOU PLAY WORSE (at least for me xD)

I’ve been experimenting with mouse grips and one thing that’s probably helped me was the type of mouse I was using. Prior to my current mouse I used the death adder v3. Pretty cheap but had decent features. Switched to a Corsair mouse cause my brother had it and I liked it but I couldn’t find his so I bought the iron mouse which made it hard to grip due to its design. I had to ease up by default just so it wouldn’t hurt my fingers. I think it’s an okay mouse to start with but not a keeper im already seeing ware on it and I haven’t even had it for half a year yet vs my death adder which has been with me for 2 years and is still going strong.

One thing I found out personally was body temperature in general affects mine and my friends aim significantly. Mainly cause if our we are cold our muscles tense to try to stay warm and if too hot we fatigue too quickly, that being said generally keeping my hands on the warmer side allow my muscles to relax easier and in turn make my aim feel smoother, something like desk heaters or even a beanbag can make your aim more consistent but not better imo also nice video I'll so hyped to try the new advices you've given in the video😂

This is a good video, I quickly noticed I had this exact problem when I first started using KvKs. I would hold the mouse extremely tightly to keep up with the routine and it immediately agitated old injuries in my arm. Relaxation made the issues go away almost completely. In my opinion, another thing that helps is a bit of grip tape as long as it's only kept on actively held areas where it doesn't seem to make the mouse feel uncomfortable over prolonged use. I have very large hands so I can't add much tension from my palm to my mouse grip without hurting my mouse posture and the grip tape helps lower the amount of required force that gets spread across all of my fingers when I move the mouse to aim (My mouse is fairly heavy).

I switched from a G502 to an Xtrfy MZ1 to an HTX Ace. Light mice are greater for aiming but it is also very important to stay flexible. Warming up your hands with stretches before your games can make a big difference and provide you with more control. Increasing tension slightly helps me when micro-adjusting because I use a knuckle-claw grip, but it's different for everyone. I noticed that I was whiffing significantly more after I stopped death gripping, however, this was just a temporary measure. After aim training for about a week or two, I started to develop fast aim that was much more precise on average. For any new aimers, I recommend trying a light mouse because heavier ones feel like they have somewhat of a skill ceiling. You can't go wrong with a light mouse.

I have been a life long console and mobile gamer.. and finally, about a month ago, I've upgraded to full blown PC gameplay and FPS. However I've ran into a issue that is.. More difficult to manage then I anticipated. Trying to learn keyboard movements with out constantly rebinding keys in games, as well as learning how to control recoil in full auto guns and make accurate micro adjustments. I'm not trying to be a pro, but I am trying to be good. Watching other people play, they control recoil as if there is none at all and it's baffling.

I have been trying to fix this problem for months at this point, I actually already moved over to space bar primary fire a while ago because of the force I was exerting. In general I have a lot of geralized anxiety and the adrenalin from a fps match seems to tighten my grip and forearm muscles over time regardless of my intentions going in. Between spacebar fire and low sens I have gotten better than average with my aim, but at this point I think I will try intermittently timed alerts to tell me to relax my muscles and see if that can help train myself to relax passively.

Hey guys this info could be very useful yo those planning to change grips or use less tension like is recommended in this video. I believe OP made it sound too much like removing as much tension sas you can is always gonna help short of the minimum required to move your device around like you need. I dont believe this is accurate or what was intended to be communicated as such. For a little context before you consider trying what i recommend, ive been playing games on every platform my entire life. Im obsessed with peripherals, efficiency and trying/tinkering with any new or unfamiliar peripheral/methodology that comes across my desk. I also have a couple physical trainers/doctor friends with familiarity in the gaming/pro scene who i love to bounce thoughts and ideas off. TLDR: (aka less detailed rambles): I believe the overall goal here is to be as tense as is needed for the quickest responsive reaction you can have to a perceived threat as is needed. I believe your grip time will have a massive impact on all this so experiment as much as you can. (Just make sure to stay calm and relaxed, the mind needs to be comfy, empty, and ready for speed. The muscles are what will be needed to exert strength and speed reactively in a moments notice ofc.) You want to adjust for the level of stamina you will be needing, dont overdo/under-do posture here. You wanna avoid any stiffness or fatigue overall, similarly just relaxing can be the best thing to keep in mind (overall). When you feel comfortable but also ready for reacting super fast to stress and intensity you still may habit back to older thoughts/posture, remember this overall posture for your hands/arms/back etc and lock it in for everything. Work off this posture towards what you want. Relatively all you will need to do is have somewhat of a symmetrical layout between arms and then full range of your mouse' play area without moving your body/core. Ive gone so far as to creat a keyboard and keycap profile to minimize movements/shifting reaching for keys etc. Consider if you prefer having 360 degrees of motion in your play area or if you want more/less. I prefer one full rotation end to end or roughly 22cm of movement on avg. Would prefer more for shotguns and slightly less for sniping. Now try finding which exact muscles are being used reactively for aiming, do you have a wrist reset or is the resting position going to have any impact on the MS required before the game see your inputs and acts? Tense up just these muscles and work on keeping them isolated so as to not mess with the rest of your bodies posture or to have any impact on your thinking. A thought about your posture or a difference in something you do is considered an impact. Try experimenting with gum, music, and position/comfort levels overall and how it impacts your ability to balance priorities, thoughts, and emotions while playing your game. Extremely surface level conversations even with teammates can produce or enhance this effect of calmness/balance provided too. Now optimize everything with all that learned info and you should notice a very big difference, potentially more if you have adhd like me. "Details re-engaged": If you play a lot of osu you might find that tensing up the entire aim arm/muscles needed will have a massive impact on your reaction speeds and overall preparedness to react properly. Ive had my nerves measured in the past from back of neck to fingertip and was on avg 4x slower than what the avg is i should be getting. Something like 4ms instead of 1ms signals. As such i value any gains in reaction i can get and love to lean on heavy thinking/predicting to help overcompensate lol. A good example of how i spotted this was getting tested, partially because doctors testing reflexes would have to try 20 different things or give up trying to get my left to reflex. On thing i noted earlier was that I tend to prefer to play Osu(rhythm mouse/aiming game) at all without tensing up it also had an insane impact on my overall speed spinning my cursor in tiny circles around circles in osu. I wanted to build up muscle memory for my mouses play area as quickly as possible for destiny 2 and i wanted to simulate my aim especially in regards to being caught off guard or having to quickly react. The reason being i was performing significantly better on console in the same game and still do sometimes. For osu, ive since moved to using the keyboard and alternating my left index and ring like its paintball as the game becomes almost impossible to keep playing well via mouse and M1 only. I still keep my right arm tense while utilizing my moveable right arm wrest as a pivot with bearings in it. Similarly my arm and M1 both do the same, right click is constantly held/tense if not tense at a minimum 2hil3 playing. As A somewhat reliable metric for comparison before and after playing osu. I went from an avg K+A/D of barely breaking even with lots of assists in destiny to getrting lots of kills and an overall KA/D of 2.5:1 if not higher. So say 24 kills with around 4 or 5 deaths, i wasn't keeping track of exact assists manually as much as im still used to using K/D not KDA let alone KAD. But the game output KAD values just to make sure i mentioned that. This was all in roughly a 3 month time period with no changes to my regular setup/peripherals/sensitivity or anything. This was all while using my mouse on Osu with only M1 clicks via my index. I roughly played 40-60 odd mins per day before hopping on my shooter for the night nearly every day during this time period. Keep in mind ive been playing shooter relatively poorly but well enough to enjoy since i first picked up half life 2 when it first came out. I had played CS1.6 a few times with no clue what i was doing before all that and getting CSS. Ive got leagues better game-sense/muscle-memory on console with bungie style super aggressive aim assists or none at all if a given game provides that option and has bad assist otherwise. Finally ive also been playing without any level of "enhanced precision/aim acceleration" since say 2005 and if you give me something that has aim deceleration i cant turn off i just wont play your game lol. Sniper in games im looking at you especially. Inconsistent aim related setting are the devil! Just let me have my standard 22cm 360 rotation on all scope levels w 90 fov pls 😂

I will have to try fragile egg. I noticed my aiming with my mouse is much less shaky when my hand tension is low, so I’ve been telling myself “cat paws” while playing fps. I’ve noticed that when my cat attacks me, there’s no tension in his paws at all, hardly any force from the elbow and down, but his paws are deadly and don’t miss their mark 😂 I also use a glass mousepad with glass skates so that exacerbates the shaking. Lots of people say don’t do it, but it has helped me use less force pushing down on the mouse and has helped me calm my hand considerably. Been on that for about a year. I’m gonna try going back to ptfe soon. Before going glass on glass I was eating through ptfe skates in 2 weeks or less on the glass pad 😅

The real question is how you're using an hsk pro without grip tape at least on the lmb. The small holes and slickness exactly where most people (including you) put your finger to click are so bad.

I had the same issue with my finger pressure down the Mouse1 button too hard and i simply switched my M1 with M2... now I shoot with right click and zoom with M1. Problem solved... turns out I have have nerve better control over my middle finger and I can click without force.

I think part of the reason why shooting with left click is better in valorant is that you can pull your mouse on a spray with your finger. With some practice you can always adjust your initial 4 bullets (I think the first 4 is still controllable, not sure about the 5th shot) to hit almost the same spot, meaning 4 bullet burst will kill someone if you can hit it all. Depending on how you grip the mouse (probably not applicable to palm grip user) you can just drag the shot with your finger downward, though if I'm being honest a situation where you would burst all 4 bullet probably don't exist too much. Also I wonder is it better to have a heavy mouse / a light mouse? I really favor the heavy mouse since sometimes I found myself in a situation where I lose the gunfight because of a very stupid reason, that is somehow I lifted the back of the mouse on my spray. I deal with it by aiming mostly on my fingertips but it makes accidental grip like that so much troublesome

@WestProter Год назад
Aiming with finger tips definitely is helped by a light mouse. Your specific issue idrk id practice a bit more and experiment with a few more shapes as light mice are starting to diversify. As for the first comment, shooting with space is a way to feel a lower level of tension not a permanent solution. My editor did the settings change in val though it was meant for kvks and seemed to insignificant to change it where he went right to a scen right after

I cant seem to break this habbit no matter what. Spent my entire life using a tight grip, its gotten me to top ranks but noticing im getting hand injuried now because of this grip, hopefully the egg comparison will help me.

Considering this is such a big problem, I'm surprised that I actually don't do this, I hold my mouse rather lightly, as if its part of my hand itself, fits perfectly

This is a great video and I know many people this would benefit. I personally use a lightweight mouse and a (mostly) fingertip grip, so I tend to hold it very lightly. I've actually had the opposite problem during aim training, where I get lazy and don't click the button hard enough to fire. In game, I keep it pretty loose, probably because of the AimLabs I've done. All of that is to say, I'm still quite mediocre in game. I just think my technique isn't necessarily my problem at this point, it's more my anxiety and mental game

you likely grip your mouse in a way that only the pinky touches the left apply a shit ton of tension and then have to balance that with only force from your pinky

Invest in a 703 or a gpro. I had a g5o2 felt to heavy had to squeeze really hard to move it. Then bought a gpro loved it then invested in a gprox when the magenta version came out
