OK - So, this was how I did it and it worked so I shared what I did. I believe that there is another way that involves pulling forward the bar with the coloured cartridge labels on outwards. Did work on mine but it would be worth you trying it as it's believed to be an easier way.

I believe this also applies to MG6310, MG6320, MG6350, MG6380, MG7120, MG7140, MG7150, IP7110, MG7180, MG7520, IP8720, IP8750, IP8780 as well as the MG7550.
