So the day I bought my FJ (brand new) I could not lock the vehicle from the FOB. Both keys did not lock. They could only unlock. The dealership said my car was detecting a missing key and that’s why it wouldn’t lock. I had all three keys in my possession including the 2 fobs and 1 valet key

Glad the hear about the Winchester - it's really quite underrated. The only thing I'd change about it is it should have a locking mechanism to keep the deployed tools in place. Otherwise, a great value. As far as the key, it's a little bit bigger and lacks the smoothness of the OEM key, so in a way, it is somewhat bulkier. If I were to do it over again, I'd probably save my money. The biggest thing is that it just doesn't look like a generic Toyota key. If the OEM was unique to the FJ, I wouldn't have changed it, but it's used in many other Toyotas, so it's nothing special, which made me want to try the AJT.
I would not spend the money to do it again. A far as ruggedness goes... It's a plastic housing for a key, like the factory key. I don't expect any ruggedness, but it actually does feel like it would outlast the original Toyota plastic. Just my two cents. Thanks for watching.
