There is a difference between “canceling” somebody and expressing your disagreement with them: i.e. Rittenhouse. Like it or not, we live with a two-party system. Regardless of the faults of either candidate we must ultimately pick the candidate who best matches and supports our values and principles. That is the “principled” action to take. Writing in a candidate is a useless and frivolous act of protest that, in this case, would have ultimately been a vote for Harris. I’m glad he changed his mind.

As far a bumpstocks and red flag laws you need to listen to Mark Smith on this subject. Trump acted strategically. I know it's hard to believe but Mark Smith points out that the strategy got the issue before SCOTUS much faster than it would have otherwise. It was a move in FAVOR of our 2A Rights because of how quickly it got to SCOTUS.

I've faced the same abuse from the Only Trump crowd, as I opposed him in every primary election for multiple reasons. But I have to say that Trump did support Kyle Rittenhouse during his trial and if Kyle planned to vote for someone else, I think it would be more appropriate for him to just say nothing publicly. Don't crap on someone who supported you in your darkest hour.
