Even if the dimensions were wrong or not, what was the intended purpose for the auto key card in the first place? ATF Tech turned over a new key card onto its blank back and traced real auto sears they made and said the key card did it, so did a piece of sheet metal sold at Lowes and any piece of sheet metal from any where could be made into an auto sear. Dishonest, using the blank back to make it.

I honestly think this was the strategy. Settle all the cases then go bankrupt to discharge all the debt. Then make a new company without that debt, tweak enough things so they can say its a 'new company' rinse and repeat. While that is going on wait for SCOTUS to decide if the right to 'keep' includes the right to build. And if the right to build exists then that must mean it legal to acquire unfinished parts. If they have to keep rebuilding the company every few years until SCOTUS says they are legal it will be hard to generate a lot of cash but they will be able to keep their brands relevant in the community which will be much more valuable when SCOTUS rules the right to keep does include the right to build.

It would be real hard to convict on murder, largely because Duran was prepped with the "knowledge" from the apartment manager that there had been trouble or violence at that apartment in the past. If you tell the cops "Uhh that guys a violent felon who will shoot you" and they get killed by cops, you don't you go to jail. Why? Don't know. You might have "not known for sure" in both circumstances.
