FL Studio 20 AutoSave / Backup Explained | Folder Location & Settings 🤔 

incase you didn't find your backup in the folders mentioned, you can also try opening up Backups inside the FL STUDIO program, on the left where you search for your samples. This is where i found my autosave even though i hadn't even saved the project once yet. life saver

Also i just figured out: If it happens that you accidentally fucked up your best current flp or cannot find it yourself in the file manager and quickly try to get it back, you can try pressing "Revert to last back up" which is the second option from bottom.

To all those who can't find a folder like that when you click "open": Just go to your regular folders of your PC or laptop (like music, photos, etc.) and search for "Backup" in the search bar. Hope that might help someone :)

I know the autosave is important in case there;s any crashes like you said, but it's sometimes annoying for me, partly because of my OCD, but also I can't find which file I want to open when i want to continue my production. for example i want to open my recent save but because there;s so many autosave, I open the file that was from a few days ago.

Once the song is fully complete is it safe to then go into the "BACKUP" folder and delete everything out of that folder to free up space? I ask because I'm starting to get a little tight with how many gigs I still have on the same hard drive that FL stores it's data on. Honestly I'm kind of freaking out because it's only 160 gigs left and if I don't do something about it soon, that hard drive is going to be completely full and I'm going to be stuck up shits creek! I have 2 terrabytes of space on my other hard drive. I kind of want to start saving FLP's to my other hard drive, but I don't want to end up fucking myself on accident if I were to do that! Any advice on whether or not it would be a good idea to change from this point forward where all my future projects are being saved rather than continue to use the same folder that I've been using for years?

When I try to change the data folder on a project originally from FL10 or FL12 (opened in fl 20.6 ) it doesnt let me save it on the sliced beats of fl12 it only lets me store in imsges or documents

Hello sir I hv a problem with my fl. I use kontakt giant and Autotune pro.. Now the thing is... I made a cover... Using emotional preset on giant (kontakt) And On Autotune Pro my settings were 30,36,110. I saved the project... But when I reopen the project.. All plugins settings were reset as if they are oper with new instance. What should I do... I see ua all video.. Need ua help.. Plz.. ua my hope.
