HIT THE KEYS MY MAN!! Every body has mixed feelings over the update. Me personally, being a novice still, I dont see any bad thing about this update. I don't know about Ableton, but FL 2024 is just fire. FL cloud is worth every penny!

My old projects load but no sound on master track unless i turn off mastering chain since update.. im like wtf

That diminished chord was killing me. Haha. I think the direction FL should go to own all other DAWs, would be developing out FL Cloud to support all plugins - and updating them. Not, in getting them all - but being able to scan your plugins and updating them, when there is an update. I can only imagine. Remember - FL Cloud is monthly, but does have a free version, as well. The Live updates are looking pretty sweet as well. FL has been dropping decently major updates on the regular - 12/2022, 8/2023, 10/2023 on 21 and now 2024 - I imagine they will keep dropping them, as always - and free. For Live, the last one cost me another $197 with tax to upgrade. Good times.

You guy dont understand how big this is: 1/ FL Studio have found the perfect way to add more to their bottomline without srewing us up 2/ FL Studio now have the best auto mastering plugin (Ozone) included + other effect plugin from Melda and UVI (also Baby Audio) 3/ Crazy instrument from UVI if you subscribe to the pro tier (a little expensive but worth it) 4/ Now you have all your sample pack on the cloud too Suddenly FL Studio jump on top of Ableton Live and Bitwig in term of sound and effect

Now if they could only improve that workflow... Right now Abletons workflow is just unmatched. I do love the fact that FL has a simple 3 band EQ on ever track by default, and it is a good one, 90% of the time that is the only EQ you need on tracks.

@@SumnSumnSumnHTK FL has really bad workflow (compared to Bitwig or Ableton). They should focus more on the workflow aspect, people don't really need new stock plugins and templates . Audio editing and automation it's still a$$ and it's 2024.

@@SumnSumnSumnHTK my biggest issue was just the constant routing this to that channel just for simple things, and second is the constantly switching between windows, i have seen people who get really good at FL be faster than great ableton producers though, so I know it can be really quick, but it just takes me out of the music from time to time when working with FL, I would need hundreds more hours on FL to become decent at it still though, I just don't have enough experience.
