*When it comes to crossfade audiofile editing, I can say with confidence that image-line has finally made significant progress. Previously, we had to simply set two automation clips controlling their unity volumes (fading one in and the other out or vice versa) to merge together; now, it's simple to do by dragging the left or right of both audio clips. Additionally, a recently added feature allows you to choose distinct and unbalanced audio chunks following, for instance, a problematic recording session. **_I love lifetime free updates too._*

when you're using two instences of fl studio at once, you can't copy notes from a one pianoroll to another pianoroll witch is the other instence. i would love if it's gonna be possible in fl studio 21,and I love lifetime free updates too 😊

I've never understood how you can be so happy and sad at the same time, as much as I'm looking forward to this version of fl studio my laptop has been acting up on version 20. I love lifetime free updates, however I'm afraid I'd have to wait before I get to experience this beast of a DAW.

I honestly never fall in love with any software/product and developer and community before, but FL Studio Devs and Admins and community in the forum are an exception. The devs are really pro active and listens and present with their own professional personality which I really admire. As a programmer and musician myself, FL Studio in it's entirety is such a fun nerds playground. Dude, they are smart borderline genius. They give us not only what we want but exactly what we need which often times we don't even notice. Honestly, if you really love FL and haven't checkout the forum, you're really missing out big time. You'll find tons of hidden gems in there, started from a mere presets and tutorial, until literally an advance knowledge about sound design and other nerdy topics like with a bunch of supportive scientific researcher hungry for Nobel prize. I love it. and the lifetime free updates is such a wholesome treat.

I know this might sound dumb but the thing I'm most excited about is the VFX sequencer thing, it opens so many insane possibilities for patcher :D And I also have some thing I'd like to see in the future of course: - more live quantize options (like triplets and steps at the same time) - swing on per track basis - add live looping features to performance mode or a looper plugin - a simpler way to link choosing the instrument to midi - let us create (feedback) loop chains in patcher - more designing options in patcher surface - updated Formular controller with infinite variables, maybe more commands and vertically expandable writing space - integrate 3x osc in patcher (because white noise) - option to make mixer vertical - bigger or variable grid size in grossbeat - Analyze feature from EQUO in Parametric EQ 2 - option to have a small patcher window where usually the effects rack would be in the mixer - sample hardware synthesizer in direct wave automatically - make preset a parameter you can link to controllers/automate - copy and paste in patcher - integrate pre and post oscilloscope in waveshaper - when duplicating label in patcher also duplicate what was written - option to lock dry/wet knobs in convolver (so they stay the same when changing presets) - make browser snap to edges like other windows (when detatched from left side) - double klick on connection in patcher to delete it - custom arpeggitator patterns for the "live" arp, not the piano roll one) - linking keyboard shortcuts to other keys or midi + option to add custom shortcuts (for example defining a keyboard combination to instantly load a plugin you often use) - some kind of integration of calibration files for eq - klicking on the name (mixer, Playlist) to rename - suggest existing categories when typing in category for plugin in plugin manager - smooth random in peak controller - key mapper mapping the other way around (I know it's possible in midi center, but key mapper has way better controls) - let us change category of FL studio plugins (without them existing twice) - a couple more options for time signatures (signatures like 33/32 are pretty useful for genres like lofi) - make patterns and automation tracks expandable to the left - mix button in sampler, to mix between original and edited audio - load sample icon in convolver should be only one click to open the windows explorer and should have left right arrows for use like the Preset selecter - auto gain match button in effect rack in mixer - option to delete all markers except regions in Edison - if you name a region something with two colons, exporting it doesn't work, which is fine, but then you shouldn't be allowed to name it like that in the first place - delete all silence (with option to change treshhold) tool in Edison (not just side but also in between) - left/right separator patcher plugin - loudness meter in mixer changing between true peak, luf short setting, lufs medium setting and lufs long setting - ghost notes across different patterns - some way so if you create an audio track the file either doesn't appear on the Playlist at all, or in the area your working at instead of at the first beat - if audio file name has "... bpm" in it, handle it the same as embedded bpm - "stand by mode" that deactivates all plugins in the mixer to save cpu - simple way to disable all midi temporarily (devices often have a control center to manage things and they can't be connected to both at once which is pretty annoying) - checking tempo automation to calculate time (not just current bpm) - Putting things in feedback loop of Delay 3 in patcher - quick option to normalize samples to -14 lufs - add notes to playlist (notes as in notebook, not piano notes of course)

Me n FL Studio have the same brthday. I love this program since the day I got my first PC. There was only two things I dreamed of.. Clip gain control and browser favourites. The Themes are a very nice touch to the new FL 21 plus most producers like to be in a certain mood when making beats. What really blew my brains out is The Audioclip Enhancements, Crossfade Audiofile Editing, Image-Line made a HUGE move there, cause now we won't need to use Automation clips which take/waste a tonne time, i've used FL Studio since the 9th version till 20.9 but never have i ever had a Purchased/Unlocked version because i can't afford it, so it would really be nice to finally try/have a version of FL Studio that is this POWERFULL, LIFE CHANGING & PURCHASED. Image line never disappoint and using FL in demo mode opened my eyes up to incorporating electronic elements and powerful intuitive tools into my tradition guitar oriented song development and production. "I Love Lifetime free updates" 😊 I'm so so so happy about the new update like editing vocals used to be a bit difficult task for me but the updates like easy crossfading, gain dB enchantment will add so much more to my workflow also on the other hand will save my time as well.
