Its funny how there is so much good shizz in FL but you never really find that on your own. I needed this like 2 years ago when I experimented with sampled distortioned bass. I think I used Slicex and that was quite clunky for my purpose.
I feel like the plugin would improve a lot grain ADSR could be controlled, not just attack. I also think adding randomization options to more knobs would improve it a lot. For now I'll stick to The Mangle for my granular.
Try connecting this to an instance of Envelope Controller - or multiple. Takes a couple clicks to set up, but gives you insane control over everything you might wish for. :)
And just how far did you descend with your descent sound? Perhaps you really meant decent. 😁 A descent sound might be good for lift (elevator) music - Going down. 😁
You guys are amazing. I love reading your Manuel's (humor is great), and as FL would say "All DAWs are the same" functionally that is, SO DON'T CHEAP OUT GET THE COMPLETE DAW because we're saving over $2000 in plug-ins alone
i love how even after 20 years of making music, one can find out some small details about something his familiar of :) never used it on drums my brother 0:17 this tutorial is highly professional. EDIT: btw, i am here since a version 1.0 :) when it was just one small windows lol. i transferred from hammerhead rhythm station and mix man studio, to fruity loops. before it was studio. than i have used 3.5 i think. it has some great delay effects built in every sampler. later i used 5, 7, 8, 9, 11 for a long time. 12 i didn't like, but 13 (20) i pretty much love. thank you guys, love from serbia

you cant open it in patcher but if you have an automationclip on one of the you can rightclick on the other->link to controller->select the automationclip there from the list and then use the formula section to modify the way the automationclip affects that knob

yes! If we could get an expanded granulizer for 21 with grain shape and density, maybe multisampling round robin capabilty... this plugin came out a long time ago and it's still decent, but definitely needs an upgrade
help when i open fl studio in fl studio and try to replace a channel with the soundfont player it still says to open it in fl studio 32 (by the why i didnt do the manage plugins step because there was no identical button thing)

Great video, I love how you put the demonstrated tool in context and show how certain styles have adopted it. About the plug-in, I’ve been using it a lot before but the added visualisation is huge in understanding what’s actually happening ! Thanks !
Well I'm so distraught right now. I tried to make a song to Honor the Memory of my brother you passed. I did save it but when I reopened it EVERYTHING IN THE VIEW PLAYLIST IS "RED" I'm new at this and I don't know what to do. Can someone please Help Me?
Im pretty sure you can do it with a good setup of third party tools by now. Also depending on your level of blindness get a pen display so things are exactly at the same place everytime and try to learn it by heart with what little vision you have left...

Может быть никогда, как тебе такое? Мне например удобно что можно дорожку автоматизации нарезать как тебе угодно и манипулировать ей как сэмплом или паттерном в плейлисте. Кроме того одну дорожку автоматизации можно привязать к нескольким параметрам или к одному и тому же параметру но на разных инструментах, которые используются как слои одного складного мультиинструмента.
This plugin is emblematic of how forward looking FL has always been. It's been in the program for years (pretty much as long as I can remember, and I've had a license since FL 3), with basically all of this functionality. Good work IL.
