FL Studio: How to actually "Edit Events"?? 

I've added events to my workflow thanks to you! Currently been using it to switch between polyphonic and monophonic based on the pattern without needing a duplicate of the same patch.

event automation is so much cleaner when you are doing those things like opening up multiple parameters filter/detune etc on a synth or riser. I used to think it was too clumsy to draw a good result, but with a bit of experimentation and interpolation is works well enough. the ability to record in automation is so much better and humanizing for certain things too. now i'm really looking forward to the ability to turn automation clips into event automation

Another great tutorial sir! Question, I did not see you mention. Deleting sections of Events in the Piano roll with the select tool also selects the midi note above it and deletes it. Even after I deselect it with ctrl click on midi note itself leaving only the event selection in question. Also same goes for selecting events and copying and pasting or duplicating. Would have loved to make my edits in the paino roll event editor where I can visually maniuplate both the midi notes and the events. Also, high lighting a midi note automatically high lights the events if you duplicate the midi notes the events doesn't get duplicated even if they are highlighted. So I guess ill stick with event editor window itself. Also a trick is you can use event editor for audio clips on the playlist by adding an empty pattern clip. Also to recall any events fast is to have the multi link controll knob icon on the tool bar and simply right click it.

I remember when FL actually got automation clips (was it 7?) and the BEFORE TIMES when all we had were "edit events" envelopes lol

how do I open the editor for knobs that cant be right clicked or even create one

Late to the party here, but question: is there a way to quantize the vertical aspects of the automation? I haven't found anything in the manual. I ask this because the main thing I use event editing for is for channel pitch on a non-FL instrument so I can get pitch slides, but it is unreasonably difficult to use this method to get to an exact note, and more importantly, to reset the value to the default at the end of the slide so it doesn't affect future notes. The sample and hold method always leaves the automation slightly off at the end unless I zoom way in and try to draw it back to the exact middle by hand, which is slow and tedious. What's more, if you try to copy/paste the default value of 0 over the ending value, you end up with the last value before the pasted section, I think because 0 in this case is not a value, it literally does not exist for performance optimization purposes. Any tips? I want the event editor to be useful but it's a pain to use as of now.

There is that alternative events editor within the piano roll. I tried that one and noticed that for some reason the selected pattern expands itself with "autotomation values" even if there are no midi notes, the pattern will not loop anymore. That is weird. Any idea why that happens and how to avoid it? I tried to add automation via the events editor as you did. It also adds infinite modulation values but the pattern still loops when midi notes end.

I have one really big issue. Can you explain what exactly is Plugin Delay Compensation PDC and how to aviod it in fl? I really couldn't find ANY useful video about this

I know its quite random but i have two question is there a way in fl studio to make every plugin that gets open. Is opened in the center of the screen. So that one don't need to replace it in centre of the screen everytime. 2. How can I byepass all the plugins of every track by one click?

I still hope and hope that they will finally remove this not convenient option for drawing automation and add curves as in all modern programs_!!

I'm trying to add this to 3x osc Fine knob but it only enters 0 or 1

How to Delete a Automation if i recorded in to a MIdi Clip and recorded wiith multi knob that i moved, if i try to cut it cuts all midi... Anyone Help?

I like your videos but every time I watch them the audio keeps cutting out in my home theatre whenever you start speaking again. I think you must cut up your audio segments in a strange in pcm format . Makes them unwatchable
