Rob may not have been the first builder to put a rotary engine in a Corvette; that honour goes to Chevrolet itself in the late 1960s. But he’s finally got his two-rotor-swapped Corvette dialled in, and he can’t wait to show off the build, and take it to a track in the California desert - where it belongs.

Love this. Instead of a FC or FD RX-7 having its rotary soul removed in place of an LS, we have a C5 where the push rod LS has been removed in favor of the 13b. Brap.

He mentions that the fuel system is good for 1000 hp, not that the car has it. Still quick enough with around 500-600 hp.

The exhaust is a literal flamethrower because from knowledge from the new rotary technology Mazda admits now that this older rotary technology had a lot of fuel blowout the exhaust even though they never actually admitted that years ago. Go look at the new rotary-generator tech and they explain what I am talking about.

Great car. I daily an RX8 and it ate my cat and spit it out the exhaust they generate so much heat. I drove it a little with no exhaust and it was insane.
