I'm surprised I hadn't done this achievement yet, so here we are! Flame Towers are very nice, just not on the same level as Poison Sprayers since they can't apply any slow unfortunately. Though I feel like as enemies are burning, maybe they should speed up...

I had a uni professor who said: "At the end of the class I'm gonna forget this pendrive with the necessary PDFs for this course. Don't take it home and copy paste them. Also bring it back tomorrow." Great dude.

I have a tip, if you arent aware already, you can upgrade the towers by click 1 - health 2 - armor 3 - shield. makes it so you can change priority same time as upgrading :)

Thanks! I purposely don't do that so it's easier for others to follow along. I find if I just play fast, it's much harder to know what's happening :D

I just recently found your channel and I love the content not sure if it's because I was watching a lot of Gab Smolders lately and that's why RU-vid recommended your channel but your both like more quite and chill laid back type of content creators and I like that been playing your videos and just listening to your voice in the background while working or studying very relaxing :)

It makes me so sad that this is Ballista/Flame Thrower only on this map. Can you imagine how good a Mortar would be on that tower? It would be able to hit like 70% of the map from there.

When I go universities, I take shield to 12% in each one. Price gets a little crazy around there. Plus shield seems to be the biggest issue late game, I don’t know that I’ve ever lost to armored units after wave 30ish. But the shielded enemies have gotten me a few times. I had one run with a bunch of universities where I had like +29 to shield, it was awesome :D. Anyways, great job, love the vids!

Universities and I have a love hate relationship... or the map gen rather since sometimes I get 1 occult shrine in a run and makes universities not great, or they show up way too late :(

From what I've seen, flame and poison turrets have splash. So if you put a flame turret on a straightaway set to progress, everything passing it will burn. They get really OP when you use them on a straightaway where yhey look straight down the path of travel.

I still have it in my mind that I always should build on +3 but some towers, it doesn't matter as much. Their aoe (splash) is just so amazing, those and poison sprayers of course

The benefit from this map is that the towers closest to the main one have a good opportunity to attack and level up. I doubt that you have any level-one ballistae near your main tower.

Isn't creeping cough useless if your slow is only from ballista as it caps out the slow even without creeping cough in a hit or two? I wonder if universities only give a single +1 each round, so if the 5% rolls on health or armor it can't roll shield.

Universities can roll 1 one on health, armor and shield each round if you get lucky enough. Creeping cough is very useful and slows more per shot. If you have 10 ballistas hitting one enemy if may not be as useful but it does help slow enemies down

@@Verowak I wasn't sure on how universities work. Not sure if I've ever seen one roll more than one per wave. If they can roll one of each, that does give weight to evenly distributing the levels.

Hey I'm new to the channel, I come from RCE also playing this game. I'm no expert at youtube but I think you should green screen some stuff in the bottom corner where you are. Like put a guy with a flamethrower and a Daryl Dixon behind you, since this run is flame towers and ballistas. Or put yourself in a cartoon tower. Sorry I watch a lot of DougDoug too 😂

Welcome to the channel!!! RCE is indeed playing this game, though most times I see him fail 😭😂 I never thought of having a little avatar, though usually when I stream I use cam and green screen. These RU-vid specific ones are usually just empty. Now I want to make animations :D

It all depends on what other cards are available at the time, so unless I know what other cards were available when the freeze on hit card was offered, I can't really say much more

Minor changes between editions so every 2-3 years they release a new one and justify why they can not use it, had a book with that over lap between editions and it was 2 sentences in a paragraph that were merged into a longer one. In one chapter

RNG and other factors make this game unbearably annoying and simultaneously fun/different each time. It's a good game. Wish there were more options and user friendly features like card resets That zoom in: "enhance" killed me lmao 🤣

You can gets mods for the game (thunderstore if you know it, if not you can find out about it in their discord), which gives the game some QoL upgrades. But yeah, RNG can be amazing or so frustrating sometimes. You have a great run, and BAM too many splits which ruin everything! I like it when people get my references 😂
