I'm Spanish and I can tell you that phrygian and minor modes sound so cool together when playing the Blues. I love Justin's technique and sound in this relaxed-acoustic style.

Justin, this is so good for me to hear today. I and my 16 yr old Chihuahua listened to your music and he absolutely loved it. Had to let him cross over to the rainbow bridge a couple weeks ago. Played your music before and during the procedure to help him relax and now he's buried out back. I play a great deal of music all day but yours was the only music he paid any attention to. Thank you Justin. You have a gift. ❤❤

Reminds me somehow of “Babe, I’m Gonna Leave You.” That song totally immersed me into Led Zeppelin and Jimmy Page’s magical writing/ arranging. This piece could go “there” with a little more power into crescendo, although I know JJ prefers to understate his musical ideas. Beautiful.

@@nicolamandese3743 Maybe the serious musicians among us can explain what causes that association: Is it the mode used? The phrasing? The note progressions? The picking rhythm?

@@jpsf37miller48 The two songs have a descending bass part in a minor which are in 100s of songs also, hit the road jack, stray cat strut for example, most popular in Spanish music called it’s called the Andalusian cadence. Justin’s chords are more similar to that than babe I’m gonna leave you though, same key and bass movement though as intro.
