Frustration? Yea! Jealosy? Sure! This guy is intimidating! I've seen his video of Barrio la Vina performed at 11 or 12, and it was already unbelievable (last scale at 220 sixteenths, clean). That scared me too! Keep it up, Javier! And don't let anybody put you down. I believe you'll become a real artist very very soon.
This is absolutely the most perfect traditional flamenco I've heard is a long time. Nice to listen to a young man playing traditional flamenco guitar with perfect technique. Ole!
Can anyone figure out that intro? Is it a sliding 7th chord 4th form going to a 1st form? I could spend a year just trying to play half of this! Bravo!!!
WOW doesnt even begin to describe this. im a big fan of latino style music, especially flamenco and this is by far one of the best vids of flamenco i have seen
I'm not a flemenco guitarist but I got my hands on one of these guitars once and wow!.....the action is super low and the strings are buzzing everywhere. These type of guitars are very easy on your left hand but mastering that right hand technique probably takes a long time. Flamenco guitar is pure art, and it sounds so powerful.
This kid is awesome. I rehearse Flamenco, as well, but nothing as good as Javiar. Keep up the good work. I see the makings of another musical genius. And that is supposed to be a compliment.
me haces recordar de lo que van al mar y la paragonan con las montañas... gosate la musica y parate con esos discursos fanaticos mas idoneos para futbol. la musica es musica y estudia mas
Yes he does chap - was released with just his name as the title when he was very young tho - it's available from flamenco-world and elflamencovive (.com(s))
exacto es uno solo, cuesta creerlo pero es una, también soy guitarrista y he ido a conciertos de guitarra flamenca donde hacen esos, una sola guitarra. increible
This guy is absolutely phenomenal and has a perfect technique and feeling for the music. Anyone with a shred of musicality would see this. I shouldn't rise to the bait but one idiot says "fake" and another brain-dead person says "this guy is probably not good ". These people know nothing and are nothing. Good luck Javier, you are a great player.
You could say that to a certain degree, but I hear a lot of Sabicas in there too, and ofc Sabicas has been a huge influence on many flamencoes, Paco included...
A capo is mainly used to create a brighter sound. Next to this, the frets are spaced closer together higher on the neck, so some hard grips become better doable (and the wrist can relax more). About solo: in flamenco this is called a solo, in contrast to accompinying a dance or singer.
The guitar is naturally tuned in E (E, A, D, G, B, E.) low to high. When raised by 2 frets (one tone) by the clasp, he is now playing a guitar that is modified to sound like it is in F#. The notes in E minor are E-G-B, root to fifth, but with the addition of D, you get the 7nth. Raise it all 2 tones to where he is playing and you have F#-A-C#, add 7nth which is E.
