I recently bought this pedal and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I had already seen some videos about him and as I continued my research, I came across his channel once again. I had already found your channel in the past looking for videos about the Joyo UZI and Joyo Dark Flame pedals (which I have on my pedalboard and love them) and once again I came across your super detailed analysis of a guitar pedal. Even though I'm a limited Punk Rock guitarist, I love the fact that you always demonstrate how the pedals you analyze sound in the most varied styles of Rock. Once again congratulations on the great work. I'm subscribed to the channel and receive notifications of new videos, but as this video was before my subscription, it ended up going unnoticed for me. The flamma has knobs with actual Markers. Volume Pot in the left and Tone Pot on the right appears to be more intuitive. The Form Factor is great, but the Position of the selector Switch so Close to the Footswitch, that one could accidentally step on it. Other Mini Pedala have the selector Switch gar away from the Footswitch. E.g. Donner/Rowin/Ammoon has a Line of nano Pedals, that are even smaller than this, where selector switch for the Drive Mode is as far away as possible from the Footswitch.
Yes, I think the Flamma is well thought out, but you are right about the size and control layout thing. I would never need to switch the Warm/Hot switch (it's staying on Warm for me), but you do need to be careful when stomping on it, as you do with all mini pedals (and in my case, with all normal sized pedals too ;) ). I did Google the others, and you're right, there's mini switches in all sorts of different locations - I am sure Flamma chose this for a reason though. Are y
Yeah, I reckon it's got to be - so many TS clones out there that are! I love it with the Tele, too - more subtle than with the LP for sure. The more I play with Tube Screamer circuits, the more I enjoy them, even though I don't use them for the standard SRV/Mayer/blues stuff.
What a tiny but good sounding pedal... I always looking for cool effect pedals, but I don't look for the small ones, because I thought they don't have the same quality... But I realized that there are a lot small pedals in a high quality. Maybe you can make a video for extra small pedal boards, in a high quality. I have made some bad experience with cheap and small effect pedals in the past. A lot of hum, not good to adjust, other noise...
Yes, it's a good one for sure! I'm happy you liked it. And yes, that is a really good idea - I will look into it! You're certainly right that there are some very cheap mini pedals out there, and not all of them are that great. I'll see if I can get a few more and put a board together for a complete mini FX pedal board!

They are great guitars, if you can ever track one down :) Mine has some magic to it that I've never found in another Epi.
