LLOD x Vertex! When Tactical meets Fashion / real world functionality. Congratulations on your colab! I was able to pick up one in each color but definitely dig the green / tan color the best out of the 3. Look forward to more colabs from yall!
Would buy a couple of each but I’m 6’10” 350 and wear a 4XLT. Love Vertx pants, wear them everyday! Would be amazing if vertx would make shirts and jackets in my size.
Bought your flannel in Canopy because it looked so good on you! Then when it arrived I was so happy with it I ordered another in Marshland. Thank you for making this! Anyone else reading this, the cloth is thick and comfortable. It's the perfect fit between a jacket and shirt.
Mike! Genius features! I threw down immediately…….I went Green/Black color way. Best of luck…..I’m taking it to my overland Utah adventure at the end of April. Will report later….. nice ideas, sir.
Awesome flannel shirt. Perfect cut and fabric. Design feature extras all make sense and more than justify the price. Planning on purchasing the entire flannel collection. Hope you add new prints in the future.
Just got mine in the mail, unfortunately it's runs smaller than my Kuhl, Outdoor Research, and Fjallraven so I had to place a 2nd order and size up. Just glad they are still in stock, I absolutely love all the pockets and snaps! This is the exact flannel I have been looking for and never find.
Just got my flannel today! It’s more comfortable then I could imagine. Also grabbed a pair of vertx delta stretch pants as well that combo may be my new favorite. Love the videos keep up the awesome work!
Just received my Marshland Canopy Plaid. I normally wear XL (6'3"x240) and it fits perfectly. Really happy with the fit, finish and quality. My second favorite color is Barren but I'm hesitating on pulling the trigger. May eventually go with another Canopy Plaid. Can't wait to see what other interesting ideas you have up your sleeve!
Nice ones! Greetings from a long-time follower from Sweden! Bought a flannel this past fall with the outer side pocket feature. Very practical. Mostly keep my gloves and snus (tobacco pouches) in them. Keep it up!
Mine just arrived this morning, love the canopy color scheme. Hand pockets are amazing, love the interior pocket, I keep my trayvax wallet in it. For me the absolute best part of it...the fit. I'm 6 foot 1 245lbs, it runs a little longer than vertx regular canyon valley flannels which is perfect for my body type also it doesn't fit like a tarp, it's the perfect combination of slim yet spacious enough to move freely. I honestly hope you collab with them more man, maybe a pair of pants? Oh 1 more question what weights should I buy for the bottom front?
Never clicked a link faster in my life! Ordered one in Canopy. Also had to pick up a second pair of Delta Stretch 2.1s in OD Green. Take my money Vertx.
Mam I was also just thinking how great of a pattern and color combo that one was too. Really good casual low vis camouflage too that could still hold up in a field environment
Nice work Mike. Vertx always seems to struggle with design and colors IMO. I'm a fan of more color, and less earth tones, but that's just me. Hopefully next year you can do a heavyweight flannel. Congrats on the great opportunity.
Just bought the Arid colorway and some tan pants on sale. Love that there are tons of pockets and glad I sized up one size (as I bought it before you covered fit).
Just got mine! 😁 fit is true to size and can definitely feel the quality.. only complaint is I almost ripped off the button trying to open up the sleeve 😬 kinda weird to have snaps that look like buttons on the chest but sewn buttons on the sleeve 🤔
This is what I'm thinking about too but you're the only one who has said anything about it in the 20 or so comments I've read. There is around 200 comments though.
You remember the kryptek snake camo Integrity base jackets that Vertx made? I got one used and it’s literally my favorite jacket. They stopped making them years and years ago. But I ordered a new Integrity base jacket since I loved mine so much. Not the same. It wasn’t as well insulated, the fit wasn’t as trim, and the material was so much thinner. I need that made again haha. Mine is wearing out after 5 years of hard use.
Congratulations on this, Mike. Hopefully there’s more to come. Ordered 2! I went with a Large, I’m 6’1, athletic build at 215. Hopefully it fits well and not too small😅. Didn’t want to go too big and have a parachute.
looks awesome! Couple of quick questions, whats your height and weight? I typically wear large t-shirts and med flannels as well. What kinda first wash shrinkage are we lookin' at with these bad boys, if any? And finally, is there any kind of stretch/flex to these flannels? Workin' off my winter-bod right now, just want to make sure if I have an accidental hulk hogan flex that I wont blow out the back of the armpits in the sleeves. Thanks for the rad wear!
Based on comments that Mike has made in the past, I was under the impression that I was the same size as him. Despite usually wearing a large in everything, I decided to get a Medium after Mike mildly ranted about flannels being too big and sticking out in the front.. something I also hate. It turns out that Vertx definitely sized these flannels to match their other garments. So if you normally wear a large, get a large. If you normally wear a medium, get a medium... etc. I got a medium and everything was perfect except the shoulders. It was too narrow for me.
Ordered one. But brother with the discount code and the add on shipping came out to +82$. Not bad but price does matter. Not bitchen just thinking of others about price. All in all I’m geeked and waiting for delivery.
Just got 2 of them a little concerned on the fit I prefer a more loose/relaxed fit so I went with the 2xl. I've been wanting to get a new pair of pants so if they fit good I'll get more when I order some pants they look good. Congrats on the Collab!
Nice- just bought mine in canopy. Think you nailed it especially with the color scheme. You know when you have an idea for something and you say," I'm going to make a plaid shirt in multicam colors one day" and then never do and someone eles beats you to it? Yeah well that just happend. I'm not even mad bro, thank you for making it happen!
Flannels are awesome, solid construction, you must be skinny as a bone Mike to fit in a medium, I'm only 5'11 200lbs BUT sooo glad I bought the XL, it fits just right, kudos on the Collab 👍👍
OOOOooooohhhh gonna snag some swag, fam. I need a new pair of Delta Stretch too... Gotta save on that shipping. Thanks Mike. Helluva job on these mang.
I like that green one. Nice work on the design and pattern. I just forked out over $200 for a multicam black Vertx commuter backpack or else I'd grab one. Pockets on the side are a great idea, that's why I like my Kuhl fleece lined flannel.
Looks awesome! I just wish Vertx did tall sizes. The Vertx shirts I've bought are too short for my 6'4" frame, even when I go up a size. I really like the features of their shirts.
I consider plaid an urban camo and great for CC. While I like the side pockets, they look to be too far back to comfortably have your arms in them. Nice design though.
you got me at snaps. its hard to find good flannels with snaps but theyre the only ones i like. my last is a fox 30usd one they no longer make sadly. now to choose a color...
I have monkey arms, span is several inches longer than height, usually flannel has too short of sleeves…are these cut a bit longer in the arm, while not barreling out the torso? I’m 5’11”, 210, more athletic than not.
Do they run large or normal? I’m a medium but prefer large. Every once in a while a large is too large. 😂 I’m 5’4 and like large tees too and not husky.
Mike - what size are you Height/weight wise? I usually fall in between a small/medium. Knowing your rough size would help to compare if you don't mind sharing!
It may be worth $80 for 1 shirt. But it’s for sure not if it shrinks and becomes a belly shirt like all the others? Also the pockets make it worth it. I’ll buy one.
