Thanks man! I was having trouble cuz I'm thinking of adding flaps on my model but now I definitely will cuz of this awesome dual rates! Thanks a million!
Ok - this setup is if you don't want to unplug your flap servos from receiver's Ch5 (gear) and plug them into correct Flaps Channel (Aux). What I don't get is why there is a separate Flaps menu item in the DX6i setup, in addition to the Travel setup for Aux channel. Always been hard getting clear "why's" of the DX6i setups - the manual certainly doesn't explain things well. It tells what you can do, but not why. I am always seeking better explanations.
Lets see if you are still out there? I have an E-flite Valiant and a DX6i. the Valiant uses a AR631 with Safe and AS3X. The flaps move when the plane initializes but after that I can't get them to work. Can you have flaps with safe and AX3x (and the DX6i)
You should be able to use the flaps still. Before adjusting any settings, make sure your plane model is set to Acro mode, and then make sure flap settings are: NORM: ⬇️ -100 Flap, and LAND: ⬆️ 100 Flap. Also, the flap servo wire should be plugged into channel 6 on the receiver.
Im using the 1 position flap setting with flap switch because i have retracts on my cdorsair which i use gear switch for..Is there a way i can do a 2 position flap setting on dx6i ?
