It's definitely nice to see Todd start to build out more teams and "families" within the DC universe.

They should definitely come up with a better body mold for smaller characters like Bart and it would be GREAT if they reused Jay's body mold for Superman and other characters. Great video as always Jason, thank you for the speedster double feature!!!!♥️♥️♥️♥️

The Flash Family is my favorite group in DC. Loving these figures so far! My favorite Flash is Wally. Can't wait to see McFarlane round out the family with Max, Johnny, Jesse, Avery, Meena, Krakkl, Jenni, Linda, Jai, Irey, Judy and maybe we could get civilian figures for Iris and Joan.

I definitely like Jay Garrick because he is another awesome Flash and his tv movie was pretty good for the time it came out, I don't have a Flash figure, But I might have to get him because it is cool to have one from McFarlane, Fantastic review overall on Jay Garrick Jason.

Because this video reminded me of Target, something cool is on my last Toy Hunt, I actually met other collectors in my area for the first time. It was awesome. The 3 of us had conversations about the Knightfall Catwoman, Hush Batman, and Infinite Frontier Joker that just got stocked. We also talked about NECA collecting and when I mentioned I was new, one guy showed me his HUGE NECA collection of Terminator and Predator figures. It was an awesome time and it was so cool to meet people who are into what I like in person.

Of the two, I only own Jay. I love that figure. He is super tall, though. I am SUUUUUUUUPER stoked about classic Flash coming and hope he lives up to the anticipation.

In short, I never tire of watching these videos.

Good review! Both are great figures. Impulse has ended with a few other young heroes in my son's collection.

I love Jay. He's definitely my second favorite Flash (Wally usually being my fave but more than once he's flip-flopped with Barry... you'd think that would make Jay the third favorite, but it's complicated lol). Jay isn't the strongest/fastest speedster but he more than compensates by being the kindly [grand]father figure of the Flash family.

Since you never reviewed the rebirth flash I don't think, maybe you could to a 3 -way versus with it, the dc essentials, and the flashpoint flash when it comes out.

I'm glad McFarlane made both of these characters, but both are way too tall. Their DC figures have come a long way in the last several years, but these scale issues are still so frustrating.

Great review! I think there might have been an issue with the red paint in general, I recently got the Beast Boy Gold Label, which uses the same body (even has the exact same hands) and his red paint is pretty bad and thin in places, I have a friend who had the paint basically chip right off the back. I don't mind reuse, I know it helps with figures like this, but I do agree it is unfortunate we got the Jon Kent boots on all of these figures. ALSO also, I think the lightning effects Jay has were used with the Bat suit Barry from the flash wave.

Impulse was a figure I was looking forward to, but he's just too tall. Especially if we're looking at the era the card art was from. I understand having a basic body for getting as many characters out with the least factory expense, but it sucks when there isn't a basic body tailored to shorter characters.
