This reporter in Pahrump is talking up a panic. Flash floods are normal for the area. People just need to stop freaking out and be calm and careful. Every place has its own issues, flash floods are part of southern Nevada.
Last night was the bad storm today’s was calm compared to last night in pahrump! Trees down every where tiles ripped off roof my internet antenna is gone too love this weather!!!!!
How about telling us how many years it's been since we have had so much water. Or rather how many past years we could add to total the amount we have gotten already so far this year
@@jamesr2888 how you ask- by placing small stones and fist sized rocks in medians and neutral grounds where they then wind up as debris on theroadways during flooding events. That's how!
@@genehasenbuhler2594 Ahhh. I guess it's making it all pretty & saving water. Maybe the city & county needs to look into flood control & percolation ponds to catch the water.
@@jamesr2888 well first off they aren't saving anything- second it's just a waste if money. Third by removing natural vegetation you increase the amount of erosion not to mention the increase in dust storms! This tendency to clear cut any overgrow lot's and replacing yards with decorative gravels only adds to the problem they are trying to solve! As usual mankind trying to play God with nature ALWAYS causes worse conditions- all of which increase the drought ten fold!
