I love how wallys lightning evolved over time. He had flashs signature yellow, then when he came back for rebirth, he had white to further expand on how he is THE fastest flash, and now he had that cosmic lightning which shows how his powers have expanded so much more than he ever thought. I love it

Future Barry didn't need a chair and Manhattan's powers in order to get the cosmic blue lightning, he simply got them himself under his own power. Wally and Barry have the same speed, mostly. Wally understands the speedforce on a spiritual level...it is purely instinctual. Barry, however...generates the speedforce itself...he IS the speedforce and has the ability to do anything any other speedster has ever done. Any speed ever reached, he can reach it too, any trick any other speedster learns to use...so can he. His future self learned how to do this by taking complete control of the speedforce, his current self only unconciously does it in extreme circumstances.

Cory Myers incorrect. Its literally stated in the comics that the fastest flash is wally west. Hes countlessly showed feats that dwarfs the powers of barry. Yes barry generates the speed force but that does not mean he is the fastest flash. And yeah i dont know where ur going with the “dr manhattans powers” and “mobius” chair shit cause even in this flash forward arc, the golden dude literally states that the power wally possesses was solely his alone 😑 also if u understood the light spectrum in terms of the speed force and in terms of the lantern corps ud know that the farther you go up the spectrum, the more powerful u are (white being more powerful than yellow or blue [with the exception of black representing the inverse of light, darkness]).

abraham aklilu | Basically they brought back Wally West for Rebirth and he was gonna have a big important role in the whole arc they were going for at the time. And then Tom King wrote a dumb story about heroes going to a dumb special facility for therapy and a dumb murder happened there. And it turns out at the end that Wally’s the one who killed everyone.

For anyone wondering, the Retaliators are from earth 8 aka a Marvel comics analogue. The team joining them are the Zsn men, who are pastiches of the X-Men. Also it's "Thunderer" not "Thunder Rider" for the Thor analog.

Matafer it was some titans issue in the 20s numbers. it was the storyline where donna try future self troia came and wally “died”. his revival which happened with wallace’s help got rid of the pacemaker crap and he had normal power levels again

I agree that Mark Waid and Geoff Johns Flash run was amazing 🔥. Joshua Williamson is always a hit and miss for me, but I like how sometimes he takes inspiration from Mark Waid's Wally stories, sure we've seen it before but it's a pretty good callback to the 90's.

Wally gets all of his hype in large part due to them using Wally in the animated series that so many grew up with. John was many people's Green lantern due to that cartoon as well. Same reason why Kyle is the true 'Green Lantern' for a lot of other people due to them growing up and reading when he was the last lantern and Hal went totally crazy. You can tell a good bit about when someone grew up by who they tend to take as 'the' hero of any given title with DC due to the various replacements.

I mean, Barry did much worse considering he ruined the lives of billions of people by altering time like some hypocritical idiot despite knewing the consequences since the Flashpoint world was a living hell where Amazonians were close to talking over the World. Thanks to him many heroes were also erased from existence. Relationships and frienships were destroyed. Even when undid the Flashpoint, those erased relationships and Characters didn't return. So i'm pretty sure the Flashes were never these perfect Superman archetypes. Anyways none of this really matters now. Those 10 people who Wally Accidently killed came back to life as of Infinite Frontier # 0, so his best bud Roy Harper is alive again and the characters that were erased after Flashpoint like the JSA Obsidian, Jade and Connor hawke are also back etc
