Thanks for the video, my wife bought one of these without looking at the reviews first! I've tried it out and it's ok however i don't like the idea of disposable pads which will go into landfills or in the sea!, also it advises you NOT to use rechargeable batteries as I think it could be a fire hazards if unit developes a fault. So not really eco friendly product. But if they also do reusable pads then that would give you both options depending on your needs. Whilst cleaning kitchen floor I observed that you have to be carful when you press the button to eject the cleaning spray as if you have a electric plith heater then this fluid can get into like I found out! so please be aware of this. Hope this helps people.
Thanks, you helped me decide on this mop. I got the starter kit from amazon, slightly different box. Easy to set up and use. For your info, a box of refill pads and solution is fairly cheap on Amazon. As for cleaning performance, I give it 8 out of 10. But that depends on the floor type. bathroom floor tiles it's good, but a dark kitchen floor is not so good, maybe the colour does not help!?
I got the Flash Speed Mop from B&M for £9.99. I didn't know about this one so when I saw the video, I thought I'd be regretting my decision but I'm not really. The Speed Mop is more or less the same without the bottle and the batteries. My bathroom floor had a small mark on it which wasn't coming up with a normal mop but it has come up with the Speed Mop so I'm quite impressed with it. 😊
Have had my power mop for a while now and I really like it.....but.... I am struggling a bit with the solution refill bottles. They are twice the size of the one you get with the mop, in the starter kit. It makes the mop quite heavy to use - especially lifting it to remove/replace the pad. Great review, tho.
Why dont you use the original bottle and remove the lid - there are youtube videos on how to do this and just refill with your own solution. Will save time, money and having to recycle the plastic. I have a whole video on making your own pads as well to save throwing stuff away: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aNi0fRdjgvI.html thanks for watching xxxx
More wasted throw away stuff heading for landfill that will need the constant buying of disposable pads!!! What is wrong with just using a mop and washing it after use ????? Are we too lazy ??
