Barry: Can literally run fast enough to traverse time Also Barry: Gets shitfaced by every minor villain, and needs the✨ power of love ✨ to win Barry: Can get croissants from Paris and Salmon from Greenland in 2 minutes Also Barry: Oh no! The villain run out of frame, what are we going to do now?!?!?!? Barry: Perceives the world in slow motion Also Barry: Gets blasted by every guy with a blast thingy
Jesus fucking Christ, the "power of Love" is why im done with the show after season seven. I came to watch a man run faster than the speed of light, not watch a young man with really good social skills.
I hate anything that portrays love as a magical power that can do anything and beat anyone. In real life love is an important thing that can help people through hard times but it isn't some kind of invincibility cheat or power up like it is in the show. The Speed Force is cosmic energy. How can it be powered by a human woman's lust for a man that she thinks is love?
They need to bring future barry( a good version) who doesn’t need a team and gets everything done. And then criticizes our barry on how he operates. Be a good way for the writers to admit they are starting to listen and read
Just cancell the entire current show and make a show about that future barry that handles everything solo. Should make a way better serie than this shit
I mean even in the comic Wally and Barry do occasionally work with people but it’s handled so much better because it isn’t all of the time (and when they do help it makes sense)
@@NTTofMistery Ah yes, I love watching the flash defeating villains before they notice for 22 episodes, each comprising 40 minutes of runtime. No, shows like this simply don't work if they're realistic.
@@rebeccacummings6697 It would function perfectly if it focused on detective work more instead of drama+superhero fight scenes with characters that simply cant fight someone going faster than sound, light, eventually teleportation (which is instant) Like they did in Season 1, where the team used their wits to locate the villains, then find their weaknesess. Fights didnt last for long back then. With few exceptions that should've never gotten away, but in S1 the excuse was ''incompetence'' of a newly training Barry so it was okay.
With the flash, it boils down to this - the writing is just so stupid. It’s like they got grade school kids to write this crap. Any sense of logic was thrown out the window 4 years ago. Even crisis was just stupid. Did flash forget that they set up a new multiverse at the end of Crisis? I hate what they did to the flash
Literally every villain ever: starts doing crime The flash, the fastest man alive, who is faster than a bullet: Well, guess I gotta go talk instead of, IDK, picking them up and running them to the prison, or KOing them right here because, yknow, I'm faster than a bullet.
This was Iris’ best season, but the Caitlin/Frost storyline sucks because the writers weren’t willing to make her character a true villain. She never killed anyone, dang.
I love how this entire season (7), they literally loved all the criminals into submission and forgave actual multimurderers but in real life the actor that plays Ralph cannot be forgiven for 10 yr old moderate jokes. It’s absurd.
The tweet scandal is pretty much the same as James Gunn' right? Back then people like to follow weird tweeting trend or being edgy, you have to see the year of the tweet for context
@@lockdown889 it’s sad how the Godspeed arc is only 4 episodes like are you telling me they picked the fuckin forces arc that no one liked over Godspeed a highly requested villain.
@@omen4304 I agree and PLEASE I BEG I SWEAR IF THEY DEFEAT ARGUS (aka the real Godspeed from what I’ve heard?) WITH A PEP TALK PLEASE IF THEY DO THAT IM GOING TO KILL MYSELF MENTALLY. They already done enough with the other villains like the speed force Nora etc with the “power of love” and “pep talks” *in a squeaky sarcastic voice* 🙄
@@mr.preston1632 I'll take Bloodwork over whatever villains we got after. What the fuck was the Speedforce villain and using Godspeed for a four episode arc?
@@thespectaculargamernerd8114 Idk Mate, The main issue for the series is the Useless character of iris, she's the main problem which created the power of love junk in the first place. 👏🗿
@@KabirHenry Seriously, what the hell was bloodwork supposed to be, he was basically venom if venom had been infected by the hulk in a pointless storyline
I don't care what the hell they do but they just need to deliver the final season properly. Like give us thawne's origin, show us the og timeline, and 1 episode fully center around thawne. And then finally thawne and Barry running back to 2000 and Barry becoming the lightning which struck him. If they do all these it will be season 1-2 level and that would be more than enough
I’ve honestly always thought Barry becoming the lightning that struck him from the comics would be the end of the show as well. Great ending imo taking the series full circle
I would not mind a whole season about thawnes origin or hell even a spinoff show. Even though through episodes he explains what happened in the original timeline I still think it deserves to be shown.
Agreed. Og Cisco was great even without his powers. When they added powers of Vibe, He got less predictable. Then writers went on an said ''Wait, how can we have anybody run away (despite Barry running faster than light) if we have a dude that can open portals to anywhere?''
@@2Kdayninja Doesnt matter. BARRY can sweep the entire city within seconds. And Vibe can open portals to diferent universes, deep space, you name it he's got it. This duo was a killer combo so they needed to nerf one of em.
The first season had some good acting, good cinematography and good camera work. Now the show looks like an episode of Two and a Half men. As for the acting, aside from the guy who plays Chester, all the actors have this "Is it payday yet" look when they deliver their lines. Then again who can blame them, between Cisko's awkward pop culture references and some character telling Flash "Run, Barry, run" every other episode, it's a miracle that the actors are even sober during filming.
@@llamagames6803 that was no reason to fire him . What happened in the past is not the present. He could’ve gave an apology and we could’ve forgave him or not .
For me: First half of S6 was really good, Crisis was terrible and this should've been when they brought back Thawne, Second half of season 6 was kind of awful and Eva should've been a 3-4 episode villain at most
It's just annoying because back in the day it used to be a Barry focused story but now they give Barry a focus episode every few episodes because they're too busy making every other fucking character that doesn't need to be, a series regular and then giving them so much focus, I'm not watching the flash anymore I'm watching the iris, Chester, Allegra, Cecile and sometimes the flash show
I agree with all of this. I loved this show so much in seasons 1-2 and I even enjoyed season 3 despite its flaws but man is it hard to continue watching at this point. The Flash has always been my favorite superhero so I immediately loved this show from the beginning. I don’t understand how it has gone so far downhill so quickly. It’s honestly sad.
Maybe a season 8 red death main villain season will make it better. What they need to do is screw the talking and get to some kicking butt. Instead of kicking speedsters off the show after 2-3 episodes keep them there. Nora, Bart and Wally should be in every episode. Then I would like it more. Season 7 for me though is looking good. The front half was a little but boring but now it is getting way better.
@@jonahsmith1723 oh god please no, red death is meant to be Flash's speed and Batman's mind merged together Red death wont simply 1v1 flash no he would outsmart him. And in order to make a smart character yoy also need to be able to write clever scenarios. But here, writers are anything but smart. Adding red death to flash wont make flash better, it will make red death worse.
Once they went to the future and dropped that he fought Red Death in the past, I stopped caring about anything that isn't Red Death being introduced as the new main villian. Mirror Lady. Force Kids. I have no idea what's going on now but I know its not evil speedester Batman, and that means I don't care
3:54 Season 3 was unintentionally hilarious because it treated the potential death of Iris as this horrible thing both the characters and audience should want stopped but she's useless and doesn't bring anything to the show. Everyone except shippers wants to watch a superhero show not half an hour of Barry and Iris kissing and fucking.
Same this ruined flash they stopped making it a superhero movie so I stopped watching it and now there doing that to All American. All the girl shippers took over the shows insta comment section and reddit and shit like that causing the writers to think there the majority so there going away from football and going into hs relationships
@@AdolphHItler-rs1wi No because most versions of Lois can actually do things and her and Clark use their Daily Planet jobs to expose criminals then go to stop them. Golden and Silver Age comics Lois was a damsel in distress but modern versions of her can look after themselves and only really gets kidnapped when she's in over her head. CW Iris is like the Smallville Lana Lang as far as characters go.
@@Xehanort10 Yeah I agree. Writing her into a good character worked wonders for the show as well. Now it just feels like they are trying to mock Lois with Iris, and instead they fail and make us hate her even more.
The flash could have been an amazing tv show. The problem is the writers are not consistent with what they write. Also the focus on iris is ridiculous if it was one or two episodes about her threw out the whole show it would have been fine, but having a whole season focus on her? Why?
I used to agree that The Flash season 1 and 2 were great, but after watching Daredevil I really understand what a good show is. Now I just see flash 1 and 2 and just watchable, definitely far lower quality now I’ve seen something incredible but like, they really don’t even hold up as much nowadays
I still dont get who's the main villain of the whole season. Is it that scientist with weird venom goo powers or that mirror girl or that business man who hates everything and the to be continued ending is trash
if you are confused then you shouldn't be watching tv, it's not that complicated, season 6A saw bloodwork as the villain and season 6b saw Mirror monarch as the villain

@@ansutoure5583 Hello.... I left the show after Season 5 So after S5 blame someone else. By that S5 it is clearly evidence that the show name is "The Flash" but the plot was towards Iris West and Her Family drama dragging the plot. Iris this and that team leader out of nowhere, Joe this and that oh Look I found a new love etc .... The show was drag by them... Not even a single Superhero ever highlight the other side... They highlight the main protagonist part more.. Barry problem should've been how to stop the villain + his own conflict about super hero means but instead he is involved in West's drama since day 1.
3 real villians in the flash and will stay that way until its canceled like arrow and supergirl. 1. new show runner (no his vision is not great) 2. political correctness which is altering the entire entertainment system. 3. public wants and wishes which rush the shows plots too quickly because the public wants to see everything based on the comics and thats not financially possible, just as it cant compete with silver screen.
It's not impossible to have a show or movie based on the comics. You can try to have it as comic book accurate as possible. Plenty of shows and movies have done this.. Working with a much smaller budget than the two $3 million dollars that each one of these shows get.
Dang. Atleast with Arrow that show bounced back after bad seasons like 4 and 6 but with The Flash, it went downhill never recovered which is really sad because the show started soo good with the first two seasons and even the third one was still good. It really didn't deserve to go down this road
I watched the first half of the season, saw no improvement and promptly dropped it. If they get rid of annoying Wells, and sleepy Cisco, then I'll give it another show. Oh, and a new showunner : Eric Wallace didn't impress me.
I honestly could not figure out what was going on without your videos, since the writers seem to wanted to just turn the flash into another “legends of Tomorrow” kids show, then somebody put down the hammer and reeled the writers back in and said that the stories have to actually make sense.
Killer frost is the only character I actually can get interested in anymore because shes actually has a personality outside of super nice goody goody who just makes bad decisions alot
i think the scene you showed in the beginning was absolute perfection from the producers. we've been waiting for FLASHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AAAAA for years, and it was the perfect time to use it. other than that you are completely right
I expected clicking on this video and getting upset towards the end. But I didn't! I agree with you here. Both positives and negatives. I agree that the writers need to step up their game and actually use their brains. I love this show and liked season 6, and that's why I'm saying this. I wish it would go back to season 1-2 style.
i was so happy when you talked about teen wolf lol i adore stiles and derek's friendship. also, didn't cisco's adventures seem way more interesting than any plotline in the show? I would have loved to follow his trip to atlantis.
Grew up with smallville. One of my favorite. Very underrated. I don’t think people realize Aaron and flash wouldn’t be at all what they are without it.
I keep hoping the show will get better, but I knew the show was hurting when stuff like being done with earth 2 Wells, no more Wally, Cisco leaving, Wells leaving, Caitlin splitting from killer Frost, Mirror Master 2.0 for sure I hated the hell outta her, who invited Allegra, under using Godspeed, I know ppl get tired of speedster villains but we need them cuz they make the shows better, the forces story and beating them with love basically. I swear can keep going, but yet I'm still hopeful with Nora and Bart and I need to see a scene with Barry, Nora, Bart, Jay,and Wally!
I agree with you that there was too much going on. As far as the whole mirror-verse / Black Hole storyline I was never completely clear what exactly the story was. And did they ever actually defeat Bloodwork or was he deleted in the post Crisis reset? 😳
Honestly, OG Cisco was an amazing character, also being my favourite, and I'm sad he wasn't there for the season 9 finale, but its probably best for Carlos's mental health
This show is really good at making the flash look slow. The one thing i hate only up to season 6 is how repetitive the "You werent fast enough" plot bandage was. One time it was reasonable was when wells had to steal some of barrys speed for the zoom ransom. any time after that is just lazy. they can at least add effects to savatar stabbing iris to make it look like barry was "TOO SLOW" nah barry just has shit reaction time in those scenes.
I loved season 6 but it came with some flaws you listed maybe kept the dying speedforce lowering the speed of every speedster when using it yes making godspeed a bit more powerful after crisis ended and stuff and his goal is to steal the flashes speed and just X him off and maybe the last couple eps could be used to defeating that mirror meta and getting iris out and brining him bloodwork during early season 7
Apparently, the speed force, an infinite void of power, space, and time, can be destroyed by both a human made bomb and a few people moving through it.
@7:28 I swear I’ve been waiting to hear someone say this . I’m tired of the wells and I’m tired of the writters forgetting about the original actor omg 😂😂😂😂
i was thinking of powering through it just so i didn't leave it unfinished but then you gave me the final nail for the flash coffin, they killed Cisco's character, oof
In the comics godspeed was so fast he could be in two places at once and I think he had trouble fighting him because of that but when I seen this I was like wtf is this😅
I remember I watched season 1 and I absolutely loved it and I watched parts of season 2, I then promised myself I would watch season 3 properly and after about 4 episodes I left it. Seems like it was a good decision 😂😂
I thought the flash season 4 was my favorite. It got better and better up to season 4 and then got worse from then on. Season 6 wasn’t total trash, but it was DEFINITELY worse. Season 7 is even worse than 6
Imagine a Flash show that was like One Pun Man. Flash becomes board of his “fights” lasting 2 seconds because, you know, he’s the fastest man alive and all. But he still cares to rescue people. He then gets a sidekick who is on the level of the villains and he coaches him to be a better hero. So he’ll stay on the sidelines most of the time until he’s really needed…
Season 6B episodes were great when not dealing with Mirror Mistress but I didn't hate it. Season 7 is so drastically different than season 6 aside from the first two episodes and the start of the Godspeed Arc.
Personally I think cisco was rough in season 3but got a little bit better in season 4 and then went to shit in season 5 because he was like depressed and that made him not as fun to see appear ( no offense to anyone who is depressed) and in season 6 he just had to do but be sad again
And crisis actually rebooted the Multiverse but the flash forgot. Shows like stargirl are taking place on a different earth but yet the flash acts like there's only one earth
3 years late but hey, im still mad about how they had a giant crossover again and then didnt use their actual budget for that crossover and used cgi on the level of amateur movie makers instead of 2010 mcu level, which was definetly possible with the combined episode budget of 4 different series
Actually every season is utter garbage. You don't even have to knit pick, just a logical thinking, everytime Barry stops to make his presence known by stopping to talk to the bad guy, instead of traqualizing the bad or relocate him or basically stop a normal guy with a gun, except he brain freezes everytime that happens..
