that is not what it meant...100% meaning that SPECIFIC vege is not responsive to that specific cell type proliferation... or maybe fueling it in some sense for the cancer cells to grow...for example in the last chart for stomach cancer..tomato is way over 100% meaning ..probably you have to stay away from tomato for stomach cancer cos it is not effective..but you can eat more of the yellow green onion or garlic to fight it.

Hi Careful Consumer, I'm Dush a volunteer here at NutritionFacts.org. Great that you are consuming spinach and beets - fantastic sources of nutrition! A diet rich in dark green leafies is great - we have a Daily Dozen guide available here: nutritionfacts.org/daily-dozen-challenge/ on which veg to eat daily. Eating spinach is fine, but just be careful on consuming it daily because of the oxalates. You can also get similar nutrition from things like Kale. See our video on it here: nutritionfacts.org/video/oxalates-in-spinach-and-kidney-stones-should-we-be-concerned/

@Sandrae7560 5 лет назад
@@KeyofDavid5778 Right, but in one of his latest videos, Dr. Greger recommends that after you chop up your broccoli, let it sit for about 45 minutes for the sulforaphane to form. And as for onions, again, once you cut it up, let it stand for at least 15 minutes for the allicin to form. Thereby boosting their nutrients. If however you've purchased frozen broccoli or you've cooked it too long, than you can add mustard powder. It's on his video entitled "second strategy for cooking broccoli"
@coolgrandeur
@coolgrandeur 3 года назад
@@Sandrae7560 I support Sandra’s advice and also add that I do not cook crushed garlic and avoid mixing it with hot foods to avoid damaging allicin the major cancer fighting agent in garlic, basically I crush garlic and cruciferous veggies, let them sit for a while, eat them raw or mix them with cooler foods 👍
