Well done on highlighting this very important issue. Recently, just before the Aintree Grand National there was a protest against the race which resulted in a 15 minute delay to the start time of the race. Hill Sixteen broke his neck at the first fence and many other horses were injured during the race. The people involved in this circus of death had the bare faced cheek to suggest that it was the protest that resulted in the injuries sustained by the horses. Nothing to do with the fences then? Or the gruelling 4 mile race? Or the weight carried by the horses? Or the number of animals racing? What a cop out...
