Flashbang! Hi everyone! Here's a story I've been excited to do for quite a while now, as it's Dan's first time writing for the channel. I've been super excited to work with him, and I think he's done a really great job with this. Spamcan has been such a fun character to film with, he's such a dick and I love him. Andrew did really great with Fergus too, he's one of my favorite Season 7 newbies and they did such a great job modelling him. I also love the little details we've added to him that are missing on the prop. Check out all of these people's content because they make funny videos and awesome models:

I hate doing this, but Today on the Island of Sodor, D199 Spamcan returns to pull Troublesome Trucks for trains and gets scared by spooky fog detonators! Fergus the Traction Engine and Duck the Great Western Engine and Donald and Douglas the Scottish Twin Engines appear also.

Such a solid story staring such an unlikely pairing. That’s TardisRescue for ya. Spamcan is a blast to watch stumble about and Fergus is a great surprise to see in this S5-esq era. Plus the scene with the twins was hilarious. Another great video!

Great job as always! I’m so happy my HO/OO scale faces for D199 were used for inspiration with Xavier Light & Coal’s face sculpts. Thank you guys so much for including me in this! I mean who’d thunk it D199 would share a story with Fergus? He and Duck make the perfect duo and I love seeing Donald and Douglas rig on D199. Dan really does know a thing or two about great character chemistry. Having a TV series and RWS exclusive character interact works a treat. It's also a massive eye opener to the TV series writers (new era specifically); they kept throwing in more and more characters but they didn't do enough with them. D199's return was also handled surprisingly well; his overall attitude hadn't changed but he didn't suffer a major humiliation either as it was just enough to knock some sense into him which is refreshing. Great adaption and visuals too; I know those night shots can't have been easy especially with the way youtube processes things.

My guy Fergus gonna get some action at last. I mean not even the community make much videos about him, it's all Boco, Stepney and Duke that get the attention. They definatley deserve it but I find there's a lack of videos about characters like Fergus, Murdoch, Arthur and Neville.

@@tesha9138 think of some of the story's the community could come up with but don't because they all act like Boco, Stepney and Duke don't get enough attention. Seeing as the show is coming on now they're not coming back and even if they do they'll be nothing like their original characters. I can find many stories about Boco but almost none about Molly or Billy unless it's a remake about about the episode they were first introduced in. I often prefere stories about Neville or Billy more than Boco and Duke at this point. Not that they're bad characters they're just overused by the community and I'm not saying everyone should stop making stories about Duke or Stepney and only make stories about Murdoch and Madge but maybe more people should make more stories about Arthur, Murdoch, Fergus, Neville, Billy, Derek and someone make a story about Caroline shes to underused.

Unlike the original Awdry characters, the TV series exclusives were not given the same level of backstory detail; the television production team just took prototypes that intrigued them and made them into characters, partly to boost merchandising potential as inspiration from the Awdry material began to dry up. Sometimes it works in the characters' favor, such as with Salty, Fergus and Spencer, due to the specific nature of their types. Samuel F.

This is easily the definitive Spamcan for the stories I’m working on. He kind of reminds me of TF2 Scout: an egotistical jerk who talks big game but often cracks under pressure.

This is a very interesting episode seeing Spamcan interact with Fergus and a lack of narration for the dialogue. And seeing Duck's face at 2:43 is hilarious!!! The fog effects and the lurking evil diesel theme playing at the beginning and end create such an uneasy feeling even though everyone can guess that it's Spamcan who gets the bad experience and not the steam engines.

Yet ANOTHER fantastic story! I was never really a fan of Fergus, but you actually made him tolerable to watch! In fact, I think "tolerable" is an outright insult! Also, it's great that you gave Spamcan a redemption! It's a very VERY *VERY* small bit of development, but it's still development nonetheless! What a fantastic story! Was surprised and happy to see Tardis Rescue wrote it, his stories are always splendid! I really like the power cable scene, especially when Fergus gets the power back on and it’s more yellow tinted seemingly. It looks nice.

Haha I’m laughing so hard from when Donald and Douglas were making fun of the diesel😂 Anyway I know this is probably the wrong video to ask but if you are up for requests, could you please remake the intro theme from ‘Toby Had A Little Lamb’ i have always liked it because it is a cross between a unique boulders theme and the fogman intro. For the unenlightened AWS(Automatic Warning System) and TPWS(Train Protection & Warning System) are railway safety systems that alert the driver of speed restrictions and signals at danger and will automatically apply the brakes if the driver does not press a button to acknowledge the warnings in a timely manner.

This is such a fun story~ So creative and interesting, the writer chose an interesting set of characters. The visuals and narration, especially Spamcan's oily voice are so well done. He's so unlikable, and yet he's still so fun to listen to, which is great.
