I absolutely agree on with you this adaptation is A LOT better than the original Season 20 Episode. And speaking of Alec Baldwin's narrations style by DarthWill I was thinking that this story would belong in Season 5, like maybe replace this story with one of the more mediocre episodes from that season like Oliver's Find.
@@victorgaminglounge3967 I love it whenever Darthwill3 voices Diesel, Spencer and Alfred in T1E2H3's videos and in some other channels, it makes me feel like he sounds just like The Grinch and Darth Vader. :)
What an impressive adaptation of 'The Three Steam Engines Gruff'. This works far better and the spookiness in this episode works far better with Gordon, Henry and Edward. Well done on this superb video :D .
Now this is a much better version of the S20 episode we all despised: Instead of three branch line engines, we've got our main Three Railway Engines (that started it all) in it. Kinda has a S5 feel to it and DarthWill3 does an amazing job narrating it with his unique Alec Baldwin impression.

The Buried Truck may be a great story writer, but when it comes to narrating, he's got nothing on _me._ LOL Next time you have me do a narration, I'll be sure to show you how I can do a rendition of Alec Baldwin's Sir Topham Hatt, Lady Hatt, Bill & Ben, Cranky, Salty, Oliver, Toad, Elizabeth, etc. Keep me posted. :D
You did a great job man! The only thing I'll say - this is just something I noticed cus I'm interested in this stuff - is there were a couple of words I noticed that were pronounced different to what Baldwin would say them with his NY/Eastern accent. 7:25 has the pronunciation of a strong T where Baldwin would reflect a 'Flap T' (whereby a 'D' sound is made instead i.e. wadder = water) and in another sentence "fog" is mispronounced as "fahrg" instead of the NY pronounced "forg". Would make sense if it was West coast like California but ofcourse Baldwin is known for his NY accent. Ofcourse, it's understandable to make a slip up when one is not from the area (certainly I'm not!) ad it's only a minor nitpick. But I just wanted to mention this incase you found it helpful. I look forward to hearing your return as Baldwin soon! ;)
Yes; DarthWill3 is a great VA; I've worked with him before, usual with him being Diesel. My next project actually includes a short exchange between a character he voices and a character you voice! Also, brilliant adaptation; I particularly love how Toby is FAR more in character than in the original. The throwback to "Cows!" is also very nice. I feel bad for Gordon's passengers though.
This version is miles better than the original episode in S20. DarthWill3 did a great job narrating the episode; I find his Alec Baldwin impressions of Gordon and Henry really funny. Nice work on this one! 10/10!
I really like how you made an episode about Edward, Henry, and Gordon especially since they're the three main characters in The Railway Series created by Wilbert.
While I didn't mind the original Season 20 episode... I think this version was a lot better ^^ and (Shivers) that ambiance! ^w^ ...I love spooky ambiances
Maybe no one was in the express as Gordon already dropped off his last stop and maybe he’d later get into trouble for leaving his express in the middle of the tracks at all
I like how he’s sorta using the same lines and storyline behind that episode. Granted that on kinda scared me the many times Iv watched it. I also like the Alec Baldwin narration he’s trying to do. Gives it a good throw back to the old days.
This is a great story featuring the 3 Railway Engines. It's been a long time seeing any stories featuring the 1st 3 main engines of the railway series. Well done here.
It is fantastic. Take it into consideration. They did it with Thomas, Percy and Toby. You did it with Edward, Henry and Gordon which is just fantastic going back to the old ways.

Wait, everyone, are we gonna ignore the fact that Gordon had a full express when he left Kapford, got to the bridge and got spooked, reversed back to Kapford, and proceed to abandon his passengers? XD But besides that, this was really well done and told!
I have to say, not bad for a Railway Series story, or an episode fact of the matter being. This is how a good episode is supposed to be, with the eldest character being the wise and bravest.

I think even though Sodor would count as a “Celtic” nation, it’s possible Nordic myths of trolls would’ve made their way there. Didn’t Vikings come to Sodor in cannon?
This Adaptation was better than the Original Episode. I’m glad you kept Edward in Character, I’m not sure if Gordon was in Character or not but I would think he can get scared sometimes to be honest. In my Rewrite Series, I’m thinking of calling it Four Sodor Engines Gruff where I’m thinking of having Paxton, Henry, Percy and Philip in the Episode.
Gordon is the 1 engine to be consistently done justice, no matter what. Of course, he’s always himself no matter how the other engines get butchered by writers.

That episode had a really good premise of being a parody of the book, "Three Billy Goats Gruff", but was executed poorly because Thomas, Percy, and Toby are rather miscast choices for the most part. Heck, it tried way too hard to be like an episode of Season 5 in my eyes.
Gordon likely collects them after the end, i was planning on having him bring the coaches along when he, Edward and Henry went back but i thought that would make little sense

I agree that Cynic's "Three Railway Engines Gruff" is miles better than the original episode, but I wouldn't call it great. I like that Edward, Gordon and Henry are in character throughout, and that Henry and Gordon's fear of crossing the bridge is justified. DarthWill's narration here is also great; he's come a long way as a narrator (and a voice actor in general, though he's always been good at that). However, it's when Gordon hurries all the way back to Knapford and abandons his train there that prevents the story from being great. I know the focus is supposed to be on the engines overcoming the noise under the bridge, but the fact that Gordon just abandoned his passengers is never addressed; we don't see them complain about it, which they normally would in this situation, and there's no indication of any repercussions. That just takes you out of the moment. Again, if Cynic is reading this, I hope he takes this into account next time he writes.
