I like that the Flash who loosely represents Mercury, the messenger of the gods, ends up becoming a messenger at the end. It seems rather fitting.

The only thing that is gonna bring Season 3 down is the fact they can't due any of the Batman stuff. You have to admit the ending where Bruce lets his emotions out after reading the letter from his father is really powerful.

The only thing I HATE about this comic are the Bruce and Thomas moments that break my heart and bring me to tears because in both realities Bruce and Thomas both become Batman because one lost a father and the other lost a son. It’s even more heartbreaking when Thomas would rather be dead with Bruce still alive than Thomas living and Bruce dead.

3 drunk guys entered a taxi . The taxi driver knew that they were drunk so he started the engine & turned it off again. Then said, "We have reached your destination". The 1st guy gave him money & the 2nd guy said "Thank you". The 3rd guy slapped the driver. The driver was shocked thinking the 3rd guy knew what he did. But then he asked "What was that for?". The 3rd guy replied, "Control your speed next time, you nearly killed us!"

I just realized that trailer for S3 Flash gave away that twist that Barry is the one who did the villain thing. DC, no more advertising. Just surprises all around. Everything is Matrix 1.

BTW I would love to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan reprise his role from BvS as Thomas Wayne for a Flashpoint movie. Imagine him with the 5 o'clock shadow and the Batsuit with the black and red bat insignia and the talons on the shoulders.......so badass.

flash point is one of the best animated DC films I've watched in awhile.

With Supergirl moving over to the same network as Flash and Green Arrow, it is possible that the TV version of Flashpoint will somehow combine the two different universes into one for future crossovers. The Flashpoint Paradox was a pretty good adaptation as well, even if they couldn't fit in everything from the comics; but it still does a good job and is one of my favorite DC movies in general not just animated.

Good thing I bought the Flashpoint book. It's amazing and awesome.

I am surprised that the "Flashpoint Paradox" movie was not mentioned. One of the best animated movies I have seen.

Remember a fictional character is only as powerful as the writer decides, in case you were wondering why Flash can alter time and space as well as think at an attosecond yet has been taken out by street level characters.

I read this before watching the Flashpoint Paradox animated movie. I loved both versions but I liked the comic better. The one thing I liked more in the movie, however, is the fact that Thomas uses a gun to kill Thawne instead of a sword. I think it has more of an impact with the gun. We already new that Thomas Wayne didn't mind killing.

I've seen the movie and read the comic and love it. I'm really excited that The Flash Season 3 will be doing it. This story was very bloody and changes everything. The TV show is doing the same with Barry's memories.

Aquaman didn't kill Deathstroke. That's the main reason why reading all of the comics, well most of them anyway, fleshes out the main story so much. In fact, I'd say Aquaman and Wonder Woman were both portrayed as heartless killers in the movie whereas reading the comics reveals a MUCH different perspective.

I though 20 seconds before this came out, "Man, I wish a flash episode would come out". No joke XD

the animated movie is subtle, they start in their old costumes and when Barry meets Bruce at the end they are wearing their new 52 costumes

From everything I've heard I don't think they'll do Flashpoint justice on CW. It might be decent, but like no where near the scale it deserves. If they really wanted to do it justice, they would start Flash like 2 or 3 weeks earlier than Supergirl, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow to cover Flashpoint all ending the Supergirl in the CW Universe and having some changes come to every show. The best and most epic way they could do it is just start Flashpoint at the start of the season and bring it to all the shows. Just imagine having Alt timeline Arrow, and Supergirl episodes. They could even bring in Legends of Tomorrow and have them trying to figure out why the timeline has changed. They just wouldn't have the courage to do something like that since ultimately even though they share a universe they all seem to operate separately with a few crossovers.

there was a cartoon of flashpoint worth watching, it ffllows the comic book quite closely (not as in-depth) but you do get to see the weakened superman and thomas wayne, but without batman, i can't see where they will get the hard hitting sad moments from, thomas wayne was a big part of flashpoint

Except the weird part is the flash tv series did the new 52 plot for season 2 and flashpoint for season 3 so basically the reversed order of the comic books

Season 3 of flash looks intresting also i see it as a good way to bring supergirl fully into the arrow-verse now that, that show is on the CW

With all the drama from last season's The Flash, this 3rd season will be nothing close to the awesomeness that is Flashpoint. The CW just seems intent on murdering DC superheroes with crappy dialogue & sometimes silly fight sequences. Great job as usual Arris, this was enjoyable.

Keeping in mind that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is T. Wayne, you gotta wonder...did Geoff Johns convince WB to do full Flashpoint in DCEU?

Wait, where did barry hide the letter? He was in his uniform when he entered the time stream and woke up in his civil clothes. And even wierder, how can the letter even exist? That part of Thomas ceased to exist after Barry changed the world again, it's impossible for the letter to have been written then.
