The baseball stadium I work at as a mascot performer was initially built in 2002 with a Notifier AFP-100 system, and the NBG-12LX pulls in the enclosed areas blinked red on the CLIP protocol. But in early 2018, the AFP-100 was replaced with an NFS-320 panel, and the existing NBG-12LXs started blinking green due to the FlashScan protocol. Aside from that, and the annunciators and the outdoor elevator recall heat detectors, everything else was unchanged (including the REALLY loud and piercing Wheelock AS horn/strobes).
I love the flashscan protocol. I think it's faster than litespeed protocol. Flashscan protocol is a lot easier to read than litespeed and because it blinks green, you can tell an tripped module, pull station, smoke detector, etc apart from the normal (not triggered) ones...triggered ones are solid red versus the normal ones are blinking green.
