@@JSoul Rain is the best Cloud player in the world, he has the best tournament results and he has been playing before Sparg0 was known. Sparg0 right now has become popular, however, Rain has been the person to develop the meta for Cloud. If you have seen IzAw's Art Of Cloud, Rain was used as a demonstration for Clouds combos and tech. He's an amazing player and one of my smash heroes.

I believe he use to watch my videos long long ago when I was a cloud main in smash 4, every now and then I check his RU-vid and his montages are crazy, he’s improved so much
Not sure if it has to do with Marth, but I noticed Leo has a bad spot dodge habit this whole set. 13:27 - 13:45 was most noticeable to me. Edit: Please understand I'm not bashing on Leo, I'm just simply pointing out something I noticed.

I do understand that’s your opinion though but do you agree that most people literally DUNK on ssbu videos literally because it’s has sonic on the thumbnail or sonix is playing? It could actually be a decent set but because it’s sonic/sonix then it’s automatically trash to most people and that’s actually toxic.
It’s been a while since I’ve watched matches like these, the smash scene has taken a hit and well it doesn’t appeal to me as much as it used to, hopefully it returns outta nowhere because I really love the game

I wouldn't say I feel bad for him. But I completely agree. When youve perfected the timing and pace of this game on locals through God knows how many hours of playing the game it becomes 2nd nature. Then ssbu Wi-Fi is a different entity of its own. Its hard to relearn the pace of the game. I know it is for me. Wi-Fi sucks🤣
Nate S I don’t mean Leo sucks, obviously, he’s a god player. What I mean that his play style, which is reaction based, is severely nerfed and bad online. His skill isn’t bad, his play style just happens to be much worse online
It was quite clear Leo was not comfortable in the match at all, and he played passively defensive. He threw out side B, down B out ot range, giving Spago so many chances to punish him. It is entirely different Leo from the one when I saw him vs Mr E, where he used A combos so fluently. I think Leo should try Joker online. The projectile with quick A combos of Joker would be a good combination to deal with melee hard-hit tankers like Cloud, Ike and Roy.
Dude wtf... Leo was playing SO BAD. He just wasnt playing the MU correctly. Look at 8:52. Cloud was soooo dead. Even I, a shit tier player compared to Leo, would havw killed Sparg0 in that situation. Sparg0 was obligated to use upb on that situation, the only thing you need to do there is to grab the ledge and wait for him to be forced to use it so you can counter it.
Man it's a shame a lot of people are bashing Leo for playing Marth in the comments, he's such a sick character even if Lucina is better and more consistent. My boy Marth needs justice
Gonna say, Spargo deserves respect; but Wifi Cloud is not the same as offline Cloud TRUST AND BELIEVE. Also, this is like watching Goku vs Vegeta, knowing damn well Goku could go SSJ3.
If you check out MKLeo's tourney when he went 95% marth in EU; you'll be able to tell he's a different player. Even best ness feels his wins are not as credible.
WiFi = Leo isn’t playing his main Joker. So YES WiFi is a problem, that is pretty obvious for that reason alone and why Leo by default isn’t playing at his best.
Honestly as a Marth main it hurt seeing this thumbnail, the two hardest matchups for Marth's playstyle is piranha plant and Cloud. Since he's against one of the best Clouds there's almost no physical way to win 3 games against him. I was absolutely shocked at that one grand finals of MKLeo's Marth against the Piranha plant from Spain tho, one of my favorite matches.
Leo have an bad habit of punishing everything with tilts instead of some smash attacks punish Cuz he just allways goes for Bair or an ftilt He didnt use 1single smash attack on the entire 4 games
Marth smash attacks are incredibly unsafe. Like everything he does is negative on shield as it is but missing one could mean getting combo’d at low percent or losing the stock at high percent.
Stop complaining about the online It’s different yes but you have to learn how to fight the mashup on it Leo didn’t learn the mashup and lose that’s all

With quite a lot of characters it was the case that people thought the character was not that good, but they totally changed opinions after a really good player plays with a new, refreshing and just really good playstyle. For Example: Game&Watch, due to Maisters new playstyle and insane results, immediately was considered way better. Same with Zero Suit Samus in Ultimate (Marss), Diddy Kong after the nerf patch in Smash 4 (ZeRo) and Jigglypuff in Melee (Hungrybox)
