I recently tried and really liked the Mielle’s pomegranate & honey mousse. Moisturizing and excellent definition. I used the leave in (same line) first. You should give it a try when she runs her next sale.
Loooooooooove your personality on camera!!!!! And I genuinely LOVE your hair! SN: I didn’t even know I knew how to do flat twist until watching your video and trying it out for myself. 😎
Now you know I Stan for a flat twist out! I fell in love with them, because of your africas best video you did a while ago! However, my technique is a mix of naptural85s and my own! I detangle each section after adding product. Then, after starting a the top with a 2 strand twist, I part and completely separate each section as I’m adding hair. Once that’s done, I just twist straight down. I do not detangle again, because it will disturb the separate sections I’ve created! If it looks a bit frizzy, I’ll undo it slightly, and retwist it. What’s different from napturals technique, is I pin the base of the flat twist, to keep the roots fully tight, and flat. Instead of stretching it around my head and pinning close to the ends! It definitely takes practice, but I learned a good amount from your old videos, so you go this!
I have never done it and I want to try...You make it look so easy Sis!!!I Always Love your vids Mama. Thank you for the lesson and gonna check these head bands!!!
I liked both sides. But the side that you used the Doux on seemed more defined. You definitely do flat twist outs better than I do though. I am thinking about using a mannequin head for practice.
@iateyursandwiches I like straight back flat twistouts and straight back braid outs because it reduces the additional separation that I have to do to shape and style after the takedown.
Nice video and your results look great. I like how both sides look. I have been watching flat twist videos because I want to learn this technique. ❤️❤️
Beautiful as always and your hair is so beautiful and thank you for sharing your videos and the right side looks much better my opinion but it's still beautiful. 🌹👸🏿🎉
I liked it! Its cute!! I definetly like it before you stretched it. It was giving me 90s vibes with your plaid shirt. Dont get me wrong it looked so fluffy & defined after 💕
i am terrible at flat twisting, ESPECIALLY on wet hair, so i have yet to muster up the patience to try/practice a flat twist out style 😂 i like how they look, though, and your results were cute! and yes for the self-care! nails done, hair done, everything did 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Janae you had me dying laughing 🤣.. I haven’t done a flat twist out in a min (always do regular twists) but thinking 🤔 about doing it next wash day lol.. girl I luv both sides this came out really pretty 🥰
Maybe you just had to find your flow maybe that’s why the first one or two were kinda frizzy but nothinggggg is wrong with some frizz … I decided I wanted to do a flat twist style because I’m too lazy to do regular twist atm lol and as I was looking for inspiration you just so happened to post this 😍😍👏🏾👏🏾
I've been watching you twist your hair for a long time now but whenever I try to twist my hair it doesn't come out that well...even if l use the products you used. Do you have any advice for me? Btw my hair type is 4C
I'm also 4c(with 4b) and my advice is to make sure you 1. detangle well(brushes like the one she is using or the denman D38 are best to smooth) 2. Make sure your hair is healthy as in you have no splits and are getting regular trims, and finally 3. If you're 4c/4b, I find using smaller twists(not quite mini but not quite medium) are the best so you don't have to separate much. Separating from more chunky twists will almost always cause frizz for this hair type. 4. make sure the twists are actually dry before you take them down. Using mousse like she did can help assure that
You may not see this but you are awesome! So beautiful and funny and you have an amazing head of hair! Yay for you! I’m nine months natural and you help me so much bc we seem to have similar hair types. Keep being the beautiful lady you are and so glad I found your channel! 🤩
