Flathead Catfishing & Streaming With Legendary Anglers!! Ft. Wayne Promenade Park!! 

I cruised around and showed my friend the river front. Muck hole you say. The river bottom is hard clay and gravel. Very little muck, this hole provides deep water when it's hot and no current is available. I know every nook, cranny and hole in this river. It tends to change from year to year. I'm not looking for holes. I prefer to fish at structure, the many, many fallen trees in this area provides an incredible amount of cover. The big marks on the depth finder tend to be common carp, the clusters of fish around a piece of structure tend to be walleye or channel cats. You be hard pressed to see a flathead on the depth finder during daylight. Actually the muck hole is the mouth of Spy Run Creek and up the St. Joe around the State St. bridge and the overlook. The point where the rivers meet has a mucky sand bar in front of the filtration plant.

I sure wish the fish cooperated a bit more lol it was a blast though!!
