I have a 1974 harley ironhead with a magento not sure to set the points gap at .015 ) (.0018) or ???? I also spark set at .020?? get different answers from youtube
the points gap should be at 0.015 and the sparkplugs should be at 0.055. try this specs and it should be running good. the points need to be very clean!!!!
