After a long day of finish welding the frame, we install the flathead ford engine and trans. Then we split the wishbones off the 37’ ford front axle assembly
Look what popped up in my feed! Damn it man! I didn't need another series to watch!🤣🤣🤣 But how any hell could I resist, "Flathead install and splitting wishbones"?????? Absolutely loved what I saw in this episode!🤩🤩🤩 Ya see! Now that I liked it AND commented, it's gonna pop up more in my feed!!🤣🤣 I like how meticulous you are man! That's the way I am with building my own vehicle or something for someone else. Quasi OCD!🤣🤣🤣
I appreciate you following along! Yes, I’m my own worst enemy sometimes, but I’ve found being methodical and meticulous can prevent many pitfalls. Sitting and staring at a project may take a chunk of time off productivity, but thinking things through can prevent, oh I don’t know, placing motor mounts in the wrong place lol!
I’m in the process of having to move my mounts back almost as far. Trans as well. Mocked it up but thought firewall clearance was more important than the fan - thinking I could later cobble a fan solution together. Add that to all the recommended measurements, as you say, and made more work for myself. It never ends. I’m doing an A chassis with a survivor T RPU body - hence why I don’t want to cut the firewall. Yours is lookin great! Perfect stance!
