1) 0:58 your BP monitor is in demo mode btw 2) 1:01 why does he have an endotracheal tube and no one is ventilating him? 3) 1:18 so you are telling me she has no ventilation for 7 minutes and comes right on back 4) 1:19 you DO NOT SHOCK a flatline (asystole). You give CPR. 5) 1:54 Defibrillation pads go on bare skin. Why does she have a bra on? 6) 2:07 hey, finally someone gets some bag mask ventilation! Not sure what the hell kind of grip she is using though. Single rescuer bag mask ventilation should be done at the head of bed with a C grip 7) 2:08 "this wasn't about science or discovery" - or accurate medicine, for that matter 8) 2:10 Again, defibrillating through a bra. Really good movie! It's actually kinda spiritual in a way because the underlying message is about forgiveness (specifically forgiving yourself in order to let go of the past).

Calling the twist now. They were dead throughout the whole movie. If you don't see it at first, pay attention to where they first attempt the experiment. This isn't a spoiler but theory I have from just watching it once.

Oh jeez, another remake that cannot be anywhere near as good as the original? Please stop remaking/rebooting/ruining great classics ... especially The Crow. Brandon Lee cannot be replaced. In Flatliners, Kiefer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, & Kevin Bacon cannot be replaced. So why?

well...if Kevin Bacon and the rest of the crew from the original vers isnt making cameos in this, I'll just wait for it to come out on Netflix :-/

it is not unlike the original, except, Courtney passed. The original is the one I relate to. Near death experiences are real, I had one as a 26 year old in October 1987, when I had a asthma attack, I could feel, the coldness, and once oxygen was used for my damaged lungs from smoking cigarettes, I came back. Don't believe me, look up my medical records from the ER at Princeton Hospital, Witherspoon Street 1987.

Did they turn Flatliners into horror or is the trailer just to hype up the movie..

I mean, I'm not saying it won't be good. I just feel like it will be lost to the wind and forgotten as soon as it leaves theatres. When a majority of people want to watch this movie, they will go back to the original and be satisfied with seeing this new version only once. What the hell do I know though? I could be wrong.

I think that it is worth watching for sure. Especially the first one in the '80s. This concept is akin to what we are doing now with technology. Often times we simply "do" instead of asking "should we". Curiosity killed the cat is one way to see it. Another is the concept that "death will not be denied". A reminder that there are things that are known and things that are not. In between are the doors as Jim Morrison famously said. He was right.

This movie was actually pretty good not gonna lie.

This was a decent remake and it definitely deserves more stars. I watched this movie in my languages using boxxy software and it got me with a few jump scares.

This remake actually looks better then the original movie.

First of all, don't remake every move from the late 20th century that had any kind of cult following. Second, where the original was a decent film that tried to be original, this trailer makes it seem it is trying to just be a repeat, but this time with stereotypical things that Hollywood thinks millennial like. Speaking of this trailer, it literally told the entire plot of the movie. Boy meets girl, girl invites boy for "fun time", they invite some more friends to experience life after death, they get competitive about it, they go too far with it and start hallucinating. My advice is to watch the original, don't even bother with this one

Gonna be totally honest though...that vocal music gave me chills and actually instilled a bit of fear in me.
