So happy to see she's in great hands, with a doctor that not only travels with the team but is also their surgeon! Kudos to all the sports medicine professionals, their work is just genius! 👏
Merecida medalha hoje no solo.
@@msbrandymosometimes you'll read comments saying she's inconsistent. But when you look at how many injuries she's received it's understandable. I honestly prefer her to Rebeca too. It's just the Rebeca is a little more consistent.
@@msbrandymo Flavia's switch ring leap is World class. I'll argue even better than the current Chinese who are known for their switch rings. And Flavia is just a joy to watch. She extends everything and takes risks. I've been loving her since Rio. Her beam routine from Rio is still one of my favorites.
Well, one important part that was lost in the translation; she said that she LOST ALL THE LIGAMENTS IN HER ANKLE!!! DAMN!!! How scary can be that??? 😱😱😱 I'm glad she found such a competent doctor able to perform such a surgery allowing ehr to compete again!!1
Wow. I had a major knee injury in 2008, and had 75% of my knee liagaments & tendons replaced with sections of my hamstring, which is more common nowadays, so it's cool to hear of someone having something similarly innovative done!
He's the brazilian team orthopedist. This medical specialty here in Brazil can do both clinical and surgical medical assistance (I don't know how it works in other countries). So, he's able to perform/indicate conservative treatments and he's also able to identify injuries that must be treated surgically when going abroad with the athletes.
