The thing that makes good main character the audience to relate with is to make him vulnerable as he is, Cole journey is supposed to be from nobody to be champion of earthrrealm, for now all I see Cole can survive anything with that armour. No sense of tense and dread inside a combat between him and another kombatants knowing that his armour is making him literally untouchable. I hope they nerf Cole's power in the sequel.

I mean this is a great movie for seeing what the audience want and its not bad for a beginning of a series. Although some moments seem pretty corny and cliche, like a military woman and man hunting down ppl for an ancient tournament, it fits with the world of MK where its goofy but dark. Cole Yung is an okay character, which can use development for the next movie(s). Overal its a good start, not great but fan service was on top

irl, yeah, it's definitely mean, but let's agree that they were laughing at how the movie was 'misrepresenting' what Jax should look and fight like. Watching the guy known for big beefy mech arms who tears off arms and claps heads struggle to throw even light jabs is definitely cause for second hand embarrassment.

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero is a prequel game centered around Bi-Han (the original Sub-Zero before he became wraith Noob Saibot) doing shit for Quan Chi (mainly, retrieving Shinnok's amulet after defeating Raiden's brother Fujin the Wind God as well as the unnamed Water & Fire Gods and eventually coming face-to-face with Shinnok himself after being commanded by the Thunder God to set things right by stealing the amulet back from Quan Chi) & killing Hanzo Hasashi/Scorpion before the events of the first MK Tournament. Mortal Kombat: Special Forces is a pile of dogshit centered around Major Jax Briggs (Lieutenant Sonya Blade was also supposed to be partnered with Jax, but she couldn't be added to the game in time before the game's deadline) because Midway rushed out an unfinished game with shitty controls, which also introduced the beige ninja Tremor, who was later fleshed out in MKX as a rock elemental/earth bender.

And then it got the prequel treatment after NRS killed any sense of uniqueness in MK in favor of GI Joe. I wanna love MK again though so here's hoping the new game is actually good

I didn’t hate Cole but I think that’s only because I know the actor that plays him from Into The Badlands and he’s really good in that show.

He's like that in the 1995 movie (played by Englishman Trevor Goddard, but we Americans mistook his British accent for an Aussie one, so Kano was subsequently made into a legit Australian in the subsequent games) & in the games, too; It's why he's so damn popular (that & the "Big Daddy Kano" chest hair fetish that some female gamers have for the guy, for some reason).

Completely depends on the company that makes the movie for whatever reason Warner Brothers isn't claiming anyone reacting to this movie but dceu movies id be pretty suprised if they could react for an hour like this movie
