In 1990 I bought an SKS made by Norinco, but it is the model that accepts AK47 magazines, and has a folding stock. It ran me $169.99 in summer of 1990. Same rifle these days will cost ten times that.
first gun i ever held was a russian sks at a gun shop in 99 or 2000 , it was 89 dollars, shady little gun shop across from hooters in springhill FL long gone, and so is the owner , in another country lol. now im 28 and have a type 56 paratrooper. great rifle.
I think that, too. I hate to be the drama seeker, but that's what people want to see 😂. Really cool flea market tho, ya never know what you'll find there 👌
Just found your channel. Awesome man! Been thinking about selling some junk collected over the years at a flea market. The one closest to me is kind of commercialized though. How do you tell the real arrowheads from those someone napped out.
Wish i could get out too the flea markets like i used to as a kid with my dads side of the family. An That definitely was a steal on that 9mm ammo ! Take it an runnoft as they say in o'brother where art thou😂 awsome video man & great content as always 🤘
Thanks man. I always liked going to flea markets and yard sales, I was wondering how the flea market vids would turn out. it seems like they get more views than the relic hunting. I have a couple arrowhead vids I'm saving for next month or so tho 👌
Dude it looked like the $10 camera came with a gun barrel mount...score..although i really hope you mount it on your Dog. I have the same Marpat hat your wearing. If you can aford a Barrett & Ammo you prob aint gonna blink at $100 mags.
I think it does have a mount. If I could, I'll mount it to the hound and get a "ruger view" 😂. Alot of cool gun stuff at that market 👌, first time I saw 50bmg mags tho 😳. I see the ammo all the time and it's about 10$ a shot 😅
That littlr Basset pup was soo adorable! Im a Dachshund owner but i had A Basset when i was a kid. Its cool that youre into beads. Are they glass or clay , ceramic ? Id go nuts with all those old pocket knives, and the deal you get on ammo is what i would pay here 20 years ago.
The beads are made of glass canes! And they sure do have some cool little puppy dogs up there! I wish I could bring them all home! 😂. I thank you for watching! More deals on the way!
I had found something out that's kinda werid but if you let the flea market God's know that you are looking for a certain idom you are not going to find it so I just go and hope I'll find something I like and I do
SKS cost 39.99 at Rose’s in the late 70’s I think it was and I’m not sure if they were worth that you had to buy five to have spear parts I think I read a article one time they cost .50cents to produce very cheap gun for the masses of Chinese soldiers
My dad laughed when was picking them up for $40 to $60. He was like what are you going to do with all those. Sold a Norinco Mac 90 for $1,500. Think I paid $139 for it.
I try to explain that to the younger guys that my generation is once again ripping them off…there were so many of those cheap chinese sks…$79 all day…then the call of duty and youtube gun tubers influence them to buy crap, because they have a stockpile of them….there are hundreds of thousands of those in the states…they arent rare or scarce
Those prices are true but it's been 35 years since those prices and importing Norinco anything to the US is banned so prices will go up, how much whatever the market will bear.
@@HectorGonzalez-fz6ws found a shill with surplus norincos…now tell me…if there are 2 million of them…is that “rare” or is it the perceived scarcity that drives demand? The perceived scarcity by applying a much higher price to trick ill informed consumers into buying something that is really a piece of shit…theres a reason we didnt buy them 35 years ago…they didnt all the sudden get better…
I love flea markets and yard sales. Use to follow auctions. Haven't did that in a while. If I knew you wanted a little camera. I would have mailed you a brand new one a couple weeks ago. It sit on my desk for a month. Then a buddy decided he wanted it. I clean out rental property's for extra cash. You wouldn't believe what people leave behind. I got 10 grams of gold and 17 grams of silver yesterday cleaning out a house. It was under a bed in a box of paper. I bought 2 of them same SKSs in 1994 for $89 at the 1500 gun and knife show in Indianapolis. If I knew they was going to be that much now. I'd bought every one i could of got. They are fun to play with. Good luck out there. Thanks for sharing.
Man, you lucked out there 👌. It's crazy how much they want for stuff nowadays. The first gun I ever bought was an SKS for 300 bucks, the Russian one too 😎, I trapped and sold fur to buy it 👌. Very fun 💥💥
@TheChiefSmokem the early 80s seem like the golden years of traping fur. We was getting $10 for road kill coons. A gallon of gas was 85cents and cigarettes around 75cents. $3 for muskrat was like mining gold out of ditches. 5 a day was a bad day. I wouldn't even know where to sale furs now. I bought school cloths and everything I thought I would need on the land and water.
Back in the day I bought several SKS for less than $60 each. Sold all but one for about $40 profit. Still have the last one. Of course it has been upgraded over the years. No telling what it would go for now. Also have a Russian SKS with blade bayonet. Think I will hang on to both for a while longer.
@johnc6738 I would to. I regret getting rid of a few gun I wish I'd hung on to. My wife got sick in 2010. I had to sale my 1898 Springfield 30-40 Kreg carbine. That one I miss the most, but I still got my wife. Was always the best trench riffle ever made to me. I couldn't imagine a 100 of them being fired at once.
I just read your about. Your dad is passed on ? I know the feeling brother. Both my folks are passed on , miss them both more than i can say. Since covid ive lost 4 friends, my uncle, my mom passed just before covid , had to put my male Dachshund down during covid. Lifes a real bitch . If it wasnt for my girl Dachs i might have just cashed out myself. Stay good brother
It's a Chinese Norinco, unless its got gold in it, they only need to bring between $400-$600 no matter what condition. Yugoslavs can bring $500-$800 and Russians $600-1k. Romanians are undersung and go all over the place. Don't get me started on Albanians, North Koreans and East Germans... those get bonkers.@@jamestboehm6450
@@jamestboehm6450 Yugoslavia sks aren't much better..I've had Chinese types and Russian..some Yugos aren't even chrome lined..the Yugoslavian I had felt a bit bulky..I guess it just depends who's buying them.
Cool tomahawk necklace! Had one just like it in the 80's. Wore it until I broke the chain. I think it's still in my Junk drawer. Never know what you'll find at these junk jounts.
May of '24 ---> if the SKS is an M-21 or a KFS Public Security, or an uncommon variant and numbers matching, 850 is right. Otherwise, a deal would be 700 in TODAY'S market.
Im in virginia been looking for a solid flea market again i used to frequent one in Gloucester until property was sold im pretty sure would love to get intel on some new ones i can give contact info
Looks kinda thin out there Chief. Hope all is well with ya brother. Heck of a deal on the ammo. Cool artifacts too. Looks like fun. Puff Puff brother and many blessings. Enjoy!!!!
Last market video until next year, hopefully there's more of a selection next time 👌, all has been well, I have a date with the treestand tomorrow morning ✌️
