Very cool finds as usual. I have couple Sheldons number fours, one I keep set up with a fore plane grind and the other as a smoother. Funny thing about them is once and awhile you find one with a tote that is nice like like Stanley"s but most are like yours and one of mine. My nice one is set up as a smoother, but rarely use it, except on outdoor jobs. All of them have very wide mouths but the frog can close it up. The Miller-Falls looks like might be a number 9, they can be great planes, also have one that works as well as any Stanly but it has terrible backlash, Your mitre box looks like it was made by Langdon, they are very good boxes. Someone gave me a huge Stanley Sweetheart 460 and a 5x30 Disston saw marked Sweetheart also. What disappoints me about it is I can't figure out how to use it in any settings other than the preset detents.
The planes cleaned up pretty good. Video out soon. The saw in the miter box was the wrong size. The plate isn't wide enough. I found the correct one on Ebay. It's kind of a monster. I'll get a video out on that one soon.
