Come hang out with Jesse and I in the beautiful hilltop town of Sintra and and then explore the capital Lisbon, Portugal. We'll take you to a huge Flea Market, go on an adventurous Food Tour and explore 4 separate Unesco World Heritage Sites!!
Join us on our 30 DAY EUROPEAN TRIP! It all started with a European trip we saved up for several years back in May 2020. Two years later, we're finally here on the adventure of a lifetime and we are so thrilled to share this experience with all of you 😊 ❤️ My greatest passion in life is traveling seeing our beautiful earth! I feel so grateful to be on this adventure learning more about our history, trying new foods, meeting new friends and of course finding 2nd hand treasures! I hope you tag along with Jesse and I for this 30 day adventure! My sister Erin, and my nieces Sophie and Maya will be joining us for the first 10 days! I’m living your trip vicariously through you. I was in Europe almost 50 years ago, and I’m not sure I could do all the walking now. I remember that I wore out a pair of shoes in the few weeks I was over there. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

You guys are feeling all the beauty and history. After my parents were married, they lived in Morocco for two years in the 50s. My dad was in the Navy. Portugal was my mother’s favorite , she loved Lisbon. I can’t help but think of them watching you enjoying yourselves. God bless.

Laura, the song that was playing was no fado. It is a song from Peninha, sung by Caetano Veloso, brasilians artists😅. To hear fado you must look for Amália Rodrigues, for instance.

That was a brazilian guy singing haha not Fado. Palacio da Pena is truly mesmerising. Those yellow flowers are called maias because they always bloom in may. Those you call fushia we call it princess earrings...awesome stuff! Queijada milk cake, Carrot cake is super moist..omg I want one now 😅😀... awesome castle!!

Sintra is my favorite city in the world, and just for information the musician in town sang in Brazilian and not fado which is played by special guitars, here it is... Right now I want to be there. Thanks for the still trip.

I highly recommend getting a tour guide- she purchased our tickets and we didn't have to stand in line! We were there a few months ago and had a tour guide meet us and take us to Sintra from Lisbon for a day tour. She was fabulous and very knowledgeable. The ride was easy and picturesque. We hit the castles you went to and visited a seaside eatery on the way back. Loved it! This is a great reminder of that trip!

I just got back from 2 weeks in Italy. We did 9 cities in 16 days. Europe is amazing and I will do it again. I wish I had a month like you did. A trip of a lifetime.

These last few days I've been binge watching your videos. Even though I live in Sweden, I haven't seen much of Europe, but I so much wanna see more now. Here is Sweden we also have carrot cake, but we have frosting made from cream cheese on it. ☺️ I haven't seen all of your travel vlogs yet, but if you haven't been in Prag, you really should. It's an amazing town with a lot of history, old buildings on narrow streets with so many small boutiques, cafes, restaurants and pubs.

I too, am living this trip vicariously thru you and loving it. I feel like I’m there shopping , touring and eating with you. You are great narrating too. Love this. I have been to Germany years ago and loved it then. A flea market we went to was so cool to see. Authentic goodies. Not tourist trinkets. We were living with my brother’s German inlaws family so we got to go to good places. So much you are showing that brings back good memories. (Like white aspergas😵‍💫

So fun! I went to that Flea Market last year, and I grabbed some tiles to bring home. I did find out from our tour guide that it isn't recommended to buy the tiles at the market because many of them are stolen. They pry them off the buildings and sell them at the markets. I was so sad to hear that although I had gotten my tiles BEFORE I knew they were probably pried off of one of the beautiful buildings in Lisbon.

Wow…what a treat that you’re taking your viewers on. Thanks! My hubs and I were in Porto, Portugal, briefly, about 10 years ago. That city’s claim to fame is its port wine. A very fortified wine, with a higher level of alcohol than other regular wine. Unfortunately I don’t tolerate alcohol very much so I couldn’t enjoy as much port wine or just “port” as I would have liked. We spent the longer part of the trip in Barcelona, which is, as you know, a fantastic art & culture filled city. Thanks for the adventure👍😃

I hope you see the quaint fishing towns along the coast and visit of course, Fatima. Also the gaited city of Obidos, it's on the liquor bottle of the same name. I was there in 1970 very beautiful and closed off by castle walls.
