@@TheVinylGuru Thanks!!! Yeah I've noticed a lot of people in the area have been researching vinyl. Smhhh!! One spot I went to, The guy had Discogs on his laptop. =/ And yes! I'm a Hip Hop producer / Emcee. So the cheaper I can find records to sample the better! I don't mind spending ah few $$$$ on the right records!
I've been trying to do better with the videos. Sometimes it's hard flipping through records with just one hand and trying to hold the camera in the other. I've been trying to slow down flipping through records. Sometimes I forget I'm filming. Lol!!! I want to rush through it. Or people are in line waiting to look through the box. Awee the struggles. Lol
Delta is a coo flea market and I been too most every flea market in N cal but now people wanna charge eBay prices for shit it’s not like the old days lol😂
Yeah it has its moments. Been awhile since I've walked around that area. The prices are crazy. I've learned to wait until about 30 mins before everyone leaves. All the deals come out. 🤣
That stinks that they were asking that much for the records out there at the flea market. I've seen some crazy prices at antique malls lately! Makes you wonder how these people come up with prices for pretty standard and common records. Good luck next time! - Russ
Yeah it sucks. I dint mind spending a few bucks if the record is something I really want. But to flip a few records and try to make some beats for fun. It's not worth the price. =/
@@TheSRamos03 The ones that I have seen are priced WAAAY higher than Discogs. No joke, I saw Steve Winwood - Arc of a Diver for $49.99. Yes, you heard that correctly ha! That is just one example. Unreal!
Hey bro where are you I’ll be shopping at VG for this record even if it’s a re-price is about 30 bucks. But if it’s in bad shape I’m not paying 10 bucks for it… shit I would’ve been on his ass and just made a deal for the whole stack.. hate when fool‘s thinking we be easy licks. Happy crate lootin y’all 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
The last bin is full of rubbish records. The way you flip the upside down record for a hope something like Pink Floyd but when found it a Neil Diamond ones, so thrown it away (harshly) is exactly my modus operandi... 🙂
I loved that you didn't crack or crumble over the extortional prices. There were very regular albums there though you picked out good ones I'm sure they'll come up again. We learn to be selective and grab the real rare ones.
Thanks. Yeah if there was selling them for like two bucks I wouldn't mind grabbing them for the collection. But I've seen these records in the wild often. Hopefully better luck next time out.
Came across 4 OG Townes Van Zandt the other day at goodwill. 3 bucks a piece. I was/am still in shock! Id rather hit up a goodwill most flea markets over price...it’s unfortunate.
@@GerrodCarper nah nuthin too buckwild, just the way they were backwards n upside down was a nause. few ok bits at the front to draw ppl in then fill the rest with C n W, oldest trick in the book!
I collect 45" Bego Records, I went to a record store and asked the guy if he had any bego records and he said yes. I then asked him how much do you want for each and he said look for them bring them to me and i'll give you a price. After spending 4 hours going thru boxes and boxes looking for them, i found 25. I went to him and asked him how much he wanted for them and he said $8.00 each or $200.00. I was like i don't pay more than $3.00 for each. I tried to negotiate them and he would not lower the price. I was like fuck you and left.
Yeah it's crazy. And I'm sure the guy watching you spend so much time looking through those 45s knew you wanted them. I had a another situation like that few months ago. Long story short. I went home with no Records. =( Lol
Oh I'm sure. Even I say that after looking through my older videos. 😂 Unfortunately I do pass "Good" records but I need to start saying _ "i have this record already" when I pass them up. Appreciate the feedback 👍
Yeah it's definitely a classic workstation keyboard. I used to have one for a few years and it has some unique sounds. That board is famous for its kick and snare.
