The singing keyboardist name is Christine McVie, she actually sang and wrote a lot of songs and she was in the band way before Lindsey and Stevie, she just recently passed and she was actually an amazing musician and songwriter.

I remember Christine in Chicken Shack in the mid-60s (she also released an excellent solo album before joining Fleetwood Mac).

@@johnclibbens6803 I remember it and I also remember her Bob Welsh years, she gets overlooked quite often but was every bit the singer-songwriter that any of the members of Fleetwood Mac were, and maybe better. I also feel like her hubby doesn't get the credit he deserves for his amazing bass lines. I love Lindsay and Stevie but I also feel that they weren't the only people that made Fleetwood Mac successful.

Hi Ola, although Stevie Nicks got more attention, Christine McVie had a great voice. Rest in peace Christine.

Stevie Nicks got more attention in the band after they joined, but if you do some research Christine McVie fronted more songs than any other member of Fleetwood Mac in their history. Lindsey being 2nd and Stevie being third. She was a true genius, and humble enough to let the others have their chance. Christine had the final say to let Stevie in the band, they didn't want her they wanted Lindsay.

Fleetwood Mac had 3 lead vocalists (and songwriters) in their heyday... Stevie Nicks was the frontwoman... (the late) Christine McVie played keyboards/ organ... and Lindsey Buckingham was the guitarist and co-producer. 'Little lies' was Christine McVie's song, and she also wrote some of Fleetwood Mac's biggest hits ('Everywhere'... "Don't stop"... 'Hold me' ... 'Songbird'... 'Say you love me') ... her voice was smooth and subtle, whereas Stevie Nicks had a bluesy voice... Lindsey Buckingham sang lead on Fleetwood Mac songs like 'Go your own way' ... "I'm so afraid" ... 'Big love'...

There are no "Lead Singers" in Fleetwood Mac , Christine McVie , Guitarist Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks all wrote & sang on their contributions to the band . One of the things I find very interesting is that Buckingham , who produced a lot of the bands songs in the studio , had his own real "quirky" sound and it is very evident in his compositions he made to the band . But he would also help craft many of Stevie Nicks songs in the studio from their beginnings into full on songs for the band and they never sounded anything like the stuff that Lindsey personally did . It's like he "Knew" how Stevie's songs needed to sound as opposed to his own stuff . 🙂

The guy singing backup Lindsey Buckingham also did a couple of solo albums and in one of those albums was a song called I think I'm in trouble. It is an incredible song I guarantee you will like even if you don't do a reaction video of it just listen to it on your own. It is a great song and I know your taste you will love it. In the beginning of Stevie nicks career it was predicted she would not make it as a lead singer because of the nasally sound in her singing however she proved them wrong she also classified herself as a white witch

The "trouble" song was big back in my roller skating days, and once it was out of the charts I never heard it again and had forgotten about it, until I heard the tail end of it years later on the radio. Took me a long time to find it again, didn't know name of song or artist. Anyway, yeah, good song.

christine is underrated and overshadowed by Stevie, Lindsay and Mick but she is an integral person to the band and wrote some of their best songs. Eva Cassidy;s songbird was written by Christine.

Sadly, we lost Christi (Songbird) McVie last year. Stevie is still with us and beautiful. I've seen so many of the great talents disappear in my long lifetime. However, they can still embellish my life.

Fleetwood Mac’s biggest success started in the 1970s. check out Dreams and The Chain from their legendary album Rumours 1977.

They have been around since 1967 in one form or another so there is definitely a lot of different Fleetwood Mac music to explore. I suspect you would be more interested in their mid 70's pop rock phase when guitarist / singer Lindsey Buckingham and singer Stevie Nicks joined the band. I would highly recommend You listen to the entire first 2 albums with Buckingham & Nicks: Fleetwood Mac (1975) Rumours (1977) There are so many hits on these two albums it is difficult not to list them all. If your time is limited then I will *boldface* some selections for you to prioritize: *"Monday Morning"* "Warm Ways" *"Blue Letter"* *"Rhiannon"* "Over My Head" "Crystal" "Say You Love Me" *"Landslide"* "World Turning" *"Second Hand News"* *"Dreams"* *"Don't Stop"* *"Go Your Own Way"* *"Songbird"* *"The Chain"* "You Make Loving Fun" "I Don't Want to Know" "Oh Daddy" *"Gold Dust Woman"*

Sorry I have to correct you (No offence intended) but Stevie Nicks is not the main vocslidt of the Band, thats why theyre called a 'Group'...In fact if it wasnt for Christine there would be no Stevie Nicks

Art out of cocaine, booze, inter-band cheating, backstabbing…plus all the temptations from the fans. Why hasn’t Fleetwood Mac been the subject of a movie or a mini-series yet?

Hi Ola you need to check out their rumors store it was the best selling album this was around 1978 dates word for many years it's best to check them out live I think Christine McVie the keyboard player. The rumors album is all the songs are based on each other in all their relationships but somehow they never broke up they thought that the band we keep them together so remember check them out live and the rumors album or tour is the best❤😂

Christie McVie left the band for some years and Stevie went solo for a while! One of he big hits, Edge of Seventeen will always be a favorite of mine! But Christie got back with the band and they started touring again! So thankful that 6 years ago, I got to c them in concert! One of the best concerts I've ever seen! R.I.P. Christie!
