This dynamic is incredible. She's absolutely calling him out even after all these years. He takes it. He absolutely let's her nail him with her lyrics. He stares straight back at her and there's SO many unsaid things that pass between them. She walks towards him and he leans forward to encourage her. He knows it's her therapy and he fully supports her and it's an awesome effect. Equal parts sorrow, ferocity, love, respect...

@@helenarichardLindsey and Stevie were initially a duo putting out records, while also being lovers. Fleetwood Mac wanted Lindsey to join their band, but didn’t want Stevie. Lindsey stood firm and said they were a package deal. Fast forward a few years and while their relationship was rocky, Stevie ran into the arms of the drummer, Mick Fleetwood, cheating on Lindsey with one of his best friends. And that caused the band to either crumble or pour all of that pain and hell into their work. Couple that with the dissolving of the relationship between Christine and John McVie in the band, the result was Rumours, which is one of the greatest, and most heartbreaking, albums ever made.

It’s 2020, I’m 75 years old, and I still watch this video at least once a week. If I were ever condemned to isolation and could take only one music video with me, this would be the one. The song, the presentation, the camera work, the emotional intensity, it’s all just...perfect.

I started listening to Fleetwood Mac when they first came out. I've seen them 4 times in concert and it's good music for the soul.

I'm a grown ass man, and this performance makes me cry everytime I watch it. You can see and hear the pain in her voice. Its haunting. Best live performance ever, so meaningful.

If only more grown ass men would cry listening this - that's when you know your parents did good. Respect to you brother.. your parents did a good job.

Listening to this on repeat on headphones and it completely blows my mind how utterly perfect the harmorny between Stevie, Christine & Lindsey is in the chorus. Unbelievable. Chills. Silver Springs alone is a masterpiece but this performance elevates it to another level.

I cant get this song out of my head!! The intensity between the two is so powerful. I love it when she sings you'll never get away three times. Takes my breath away!! Simply mesmerizing

It's impossible to watch this without being a sobbing mess by the end. The energy and chemistry you feel is so unbelievably powerful - Stevie singing directly to Lindsey gives me the most overwhelmingly haunting feeling I just can't put into words. There will never be another band like Fleetwood Mac, may Christine rest in peace.

If Fleetwood Mac makes you a sobbing mess you probably have bigger issues to address.

@@thefonzkiss Why, because she's a sensitive human being, which is something you evidently cannot relate to.

For what it’s worth, I agree completely… I first saw this some 25 years ago, and every time I seen it, the intensity in her face near the end of her song is very very moving

Too sad especially when you hear "silver spring" also. It's been right at 8 yrs just past that itch of 7 and an affair that's gone on for 21 months. And will until he finally leaves altho I've asked him nicely to just go don't let me stand in his way. I truly love the guy but unfortunately slot of times that love for whatever reasons can't be restored. It's friggen sad, has broken me at soon to be 54 yrs old. I'm too old for this starting over noise every 7 yrs. I'm running out of em so decided to do what I do best ** here I go again on my own* white snake. Besides I give good love, always worked and not bad looking so f-em

**restored or returned** not when a friend of mine kept throwing her self at him. Something I'd never do to anyone let alone and old friend. I knew I didn't like her for a reason. Lol... shooting up morphine and stealing her dying parents retirement money from their debit card was the main thing I didn't care for her, that and constantly talking bout how she got left n needed a man. Well bite my butt I had no idea she was going to lasso my man. Grrrrr. Sad pitiful world it has been but hell I'm not dead yet, got plenty of living to do and if it's alone well who cares

I've never seen anything so intense as these two singing this song together, which is more like TO each other. I love this song and despite Stevie and Lindsey having major issues with each other there is no denying that their connection is deep and always will be!
