Fleming Mountain Grill is Lynchburg’s newest premiere steak house restaurant. The restaurant is located in the Old Mitchell’s Grocery Store. Fleming Mountain Grill features Signature 1920 Angus Ribeye steak and Mitchell’s Fried Chicken. The restaurant’s décor is beautifully and tastefully done. Come along with us as we try out this new restaurant and see what we think.

Recently ate there and I very much enjoyed the service and atmosphere. Mike was awesome and cut me and my wife a great cut of steak. I asked for medium/medium rare and it was cooked wonderfully. I got home and immediately researched the 1920 Greater Omaha steak company's bio and the Forbes article. These cuts of beef are served in Ruth's Crisp and Wolfgang Puck. Well worth the money.

Glad you had a good experience there. It's always wonderful when you get your steak cooked to your specifications. We were told that Fleming is the only place in Virginia to serve the 1920 steak. There are five Ruth's Chris Steak Houses in Virginia so I'm not sure if they serve the 1920 steaks or not at these locations. YES PLEASE!! This reminds me of the PEDDLER, in Gatlinburg, with them cutting your steak at the table. Nice salad bar as well. Great video as always.

Again, we want to thank you for our meal at Fleming Mountain Grill. The owners have done a good job in fixing up the old Mitchell’s location. The interior is really inviting. I must say that salad bar is the bomb!! Enjoyed it so much!

You need to come to Nashville and try Logan's Roadhouse. Their food is awesome!

They did a great remodel. I love a good salad bar. That was a huge steak and I would like to try the famous fried chicken. That was a nice celebration for your Dad and Carly looked so pretty.

They absolutely did an amazing job on the remodel. We are looking forward to seeing the additions that they are doing. They are also building a deck on the back for outdoor dining. I definitely want to try the fried chicken at some point. Thanks for the compliment on Carly. She is such a sweet girl and is so loved. We appreciate you.

It's a huge difference between grill marks and burnt. If you had seen the rest of the piece of chicken you would have definitely been able to see the entire piece had burnt marks. Disgusting taste from being burned.

The food did look good. And the renovation of the store into a restaurant was wonderful. But it does look a little overpriced for what you get. I do love a good salad bar. Thanks for introducing us to Fleming Mountain Grill!

That steak was thick! I joked with David saying it was a roast instead of a steak. They did replace the chicken without any issues. I'd like to try the fried chicken next time. Thanks so much!

Never bring me a piece of raw meat so I can choose what size I want. Raw meat would totally turn me off. I just don't want to see it. I think this place appears to be expensive for what it is. After seeing your receipt, I know it's over priced! It might ruin the steak but I don't want to see any red or pink in mine. I want all meat well done. This would be a NO for me.

You don't have to have them bring the steak to your table. You can just order it from the menu. If you don't like seeing raw meat you probably wouldn't like being in the restaurant because they roll the meat cart around to the different tables. Thanks for watching and commenting.
