She let millions of people know that is wasnt an accident but an attack. And that led to them shuting down the airports and that how the passengers knew on United 93 that they were next. Wow.. I didnt realize it was that long ago. I was only 8yo. I remember them playing the footage over and over and over again. The shock in my ex step dads eyes. I recall a lot about that day.
Not professional. Not a single flight attendant did what they were trained to do that day. Very strange. There is a distress button that only takes one press to immediately signal to control that there is a hijacking, they also lock the cockpit and automatically take control of the plane. You're also not supposed to call reservations as she did...flight attendants are not trained whatsoever to call reservations, especially since you'll be waiting a long time. There is so much wrong with how the "professionals" handled things that day. Her saying that someone sprayed pepper spray is odd and a complete lie too because in case you don't understand science and physics...which never takes a day off...a pressurized cabin on a plane would immediately spread that pepper spray all around the plane and EVERYONE would be affected...it would be impossible for her to talk on he phone. Her eyes would be stinging like crazy and her mouth would be full of that taste very quickly. Also disturbing is the fact that 9 months prior to 9/11, that particular airline deactivated all of their airphones, so they DID NOT work that day, not including the fact she says she's in her jumpseat which doesn't have an airphone anyway and passenger airphones wouldn't reach that far. That leaves cell phones, which start failing at around 8000 feet and become completely impossible to use exponentially from there on up. Do you hear plane noises in this recording? Does it sound like they are other people around her at all being hijacked? Do you hear external panic or erratic behavior in the background? Seems reality took a day off that day. The only people that can communicate with the ground are those with radio in the cockpit, which is why the DISTRESS BUTTON should have been pressed and precisely why it locks the cockpit door. She has all of this time to babble on the phone, but not a split second to press the button that would have signaled and saved them? Amazing.
Betty Ann Ong taught me how to run a full blown wide body galley! AND I became a #1 because of her leadership and encouragement. I wanted to have her professionalism and she gave it away professionally! Grateful, RIP Lovely woman!
RIP Betty Ong. So young, smart, and brave. She knew something was wrong and the lack of support and help from the other end was just so frustrating to hear. She was so calm, even though you can hear she was still little scared. She jumped into action and did more than her job and for that she’s a hero. Her dreams cut too short, so unfair. Betty was a true American Patriot even though she was faced with death, she still did what she could to help save other people's lives, because of the information she gave, people were aware it was an attack and not some random accident, this gave people time to evacuate and get away from the area, it also prevented flight 93 from completing it's plan... her family should be proud of Betty, may she rest in peace.

@@BludShotiiiiis making cell phone calls while IN-Flight in 2001 was TOTALLY IMPOSSIBLE. Period. No question. Really from ANY altitude but ESPECIALLY when the aircraft is above 10,000 ft. Every single "call" made on all 4 aircraft has been analyzed against the radar data showing exactly where the planes were at and what they were really doing at the time of the call. On nearly every call those "planes" (which had already been switched to some type of special military aircraft or missile - can you say "Operation Northwoods"?) were at 35,000 ft or higher and descending rapidly! Those phone calls would have been IMPOSSIBLE to make at the actual known altitudes of those aircraft and IF you COULD connect a call you would have to YELL LOUDLY to be heard above all the background noise and there would have no doubt been a lot of SCREAMING from TERRIFIED passengers!! NONE of those elements are present in ANY of the calls. They were ALL made on the ground. And again, according to Rebekah Roth's highly detailed and accurate work, there is 2-3 or more EYEWITNESSES that WILL TESTIFY before Congress that they saw at least 2 planes land at Westfield Air Force base and the base WAS IN FACT mysteriously CLOSED that day according to several military personnel who worked on that base on 911. The part of the call when she explains that they’re flying really low always gives me chills. They had to look out and see the water, the skyscrapers, how fast they were going...all of it 💔
have you never been on a plane before? As a passenger you cannot see out of the plane in front, only the sides. The passengers may have seen the city but would have never seen the towters. You can only see forward out of the cockpit.
Its just the way the video was made. Anyone can go listen to this in other videos. This call was from a airphone on American 11 after it was hijacked by Mohamad Atta and other hijackers.
I think it’s because it was to keep the sounds of panic and people being killed from being heard. Since there was many stabbings on the plane and cause of the families of the passengers didn’t want to have their loved ones being attacked to be heard.
The ability to make cell phone calls @ high altitudes was not possible until 2004. AA disabled their in-plane phones prior to 9/11. When someone sprays anything in a pressurized aircraft EVERYONE on the plane will be affected. No coughing can be heard just the echo of the aircraft hanger that she's calling from. They cut out the end of the audio when she hands her phone to a woman who clearly states "you did great"
Back then planes had air phones, passengers could use them if they had a credit card to call. Also flight attendants would sometimes use them to call to help passengers catch a connecting flight

I’m pretty sure those passengers were in a state of shock and when you’re in shock you freeze up. I’m sure they didn’t want to get the hijackers attention by screaming (as if that’s going to do any good). Secondly those phones on the aircraft pick up direct voices. Thirdly, how do you not know she was terrified? She’s a flight attendant. In a position where passengers count on you for safety. She maintained her professionalism. May she RIP

The passengers were not herded to the back on flight 11. The terrorists sprayed first and business class with pepper spray after stabbing flight attendants Karen Martin and Barbara A. Then barricaded themselves into the cockpit and never came back out.

Betty used a airphone. Most calls were from airphones. The planes did however at times fly low enough and people did get through with their cell phones for a few calls but the quality was bad and they kept getting cut off. The hijackers did disengage the autopilot at times and the planes did make eratic moves.

A cell phone towers have a maximum radius of 25 about miles (& less back then) projected horizontally, and a 747 flies at 550 mph. If a cell phone did miraculously connect it would almost immediately disconnect due to getting out of range, there would only be time to say a few words, not the several minutes of Ong's alleged call. You can try this experiment yourself the next time you fly if you don't believe me. Flight attendants are rigorously trained in how to react in case of hijacking and Ong's behavior of calling her airline rather than the appropriate authorities does not correspond with FAA training. Therefore, we can conclude that the story we have been given by the government is a script that was written by someone who has a poor understanding of the relevant physics and FAA hijacking procedures. If you want to know what happened, Flight 11 was landed at Westover Airforce Base and Ong & others were told they were part of a hijacking drill and given a script to read (by the Mossad operatives running the operation). A dummy plane flown by Dov Zakheim's System Planning Corporations "Flight Termination System" remote control kit simultaneously took off which later crashed into the WTC. There were no Arab hijackers, the planes were all being flown by uninterruptable autopilot or Flight Termination Kits. This is also why you'll never see airport security footage of the alleged hijackers from the relevant airports, and why several of the Arab "hijackers" later turned out to be alive. Obviously planes, even as far back as the 70s, had phones on the back of each seat. Betty was a flight attendant, clearly they had ways of communicating. Flight 93 was flying low enough that a few were able to use a flip phone to call. How many times does this need to be debunked lol

This is a recording of a recording that is being played back in a large room. Obviously, the reverb on her voice is not on the original phone recording. And yes, all of these calls were made on the ground.
