just went on this ride yesterday, the ride is sooooo good, the fact that u can feel the wind and smell is just incredible, if u haven’t been on this ride i recommend u do cuz if u havent then ur missing out
Been waiting to get on this since released & got chance on it twice today!!believe me I havent experienced anything more magical than this in 38yrs of my life..Legoland on must visit list coz of this one ride!takes u into magical world which one only dreamt of their whole lives watching fantasy movies!!!
Went on this ride at the weekend wow what a experience it’s like your in a computer game feeling everything well worth going to Legoland just for this ride not be long before I’m going back
This is incredible and looks like being the best experience ever. More fun and thrilling than a standard simulator. How did you manage to safely film on ride? Well done!
It is an incredible attraction, there is also wind and water spray effects that add to the experience. The ride is very smooth and gentle and only has a lap belt that sits loosely across you. It does feel like you are moving a lot more than you are. Thank you for watching
@@lauramitchell5462 it was about 90 minutes queue time although it was quieter towards the end of the day, the staff were great, it was a very hot day and people queuing needed drinks and the toilet and the staff organised this where possible. It is one ride where you you feel it was worth the wait
@@lauramitchell5462You can seriously reduce the wait time by getting a reserve and ride pass. You have to purchase this near the entrance and you can book tickets for most of the rides in advance. FotSL is the hardest to get and tickets are only available every half hour, but once you book your ticket there is only a very short queue, although once you have booked your ticket, you can only go at a specific time. Pro tip: Make sure you get the ride operator to scan your ticket, as if they don't, you wo't be able to book any more rides.
I have checked and you can only get the reserve and ride pass if you have a disability, which you also need to confirm with Legoland when purchasing your tickets. Apologies for misleading you.
I am extremely fascinated by this ride and it’s response! From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t really move around much, is the illusion that convincing? Great video!
The movements, when put together with the film, does make it feel like you are moving more than you actually are and it is very convincing. There are also water and wind effects that add to the experience. The wind makes it feel you are moving faster than you are. It is one of those rides that when you come off it, you can hear guests just say wow! and I have to agree, it is a fantastic attraction. Thank you for watching
Yeah they opened 2021 and are Brogent Technologies Inc. M-Ride Flying Theaters, the one here was designed to fit in with the Lego Mythica areas, the other Legolands have the Emmet’s Flying Adventure Ride in Lego Movie World areas
We always hear people just go 'wow' when it first turns round, it is an amazing attraction, we always try and get on it if the queue's are not to long, thank you for watching and glad you had a fantastic time at Legoland!
Hello, we are going soon and I do not know if it will be good for my 8 years old daughter. Is it similar to star tours simulator in Disney? Or more intense? Thank you!
I would say it's less intense than Star Tours, it is a smoother ride with no sudden movements. It's more like Soarin' at Epcot. Our kids are of a similar age, they were a bit worried on their first ride as they didn't know what it was going to be like, but they loved it
Don't worry, my son then 9 yo enjoyed it and guess what we had a 5yo (friend's daughter) with us too, she loved it too! she is a smart girl in general so we knew she would be fine, and yes 8 yo should be absolutely fine!
it's known as a flying theatre, which is basically a screen with moving chairs there are also effects as well, like wind is blown in your face and water spray during the ride.
While saying this currently i am in legoland and trust me ive been on this ride it may look cool but it is really scary when your on it as you move about in real life really fast in a rollercoaster
Not at all! There is a slight shaking, but the belts are securely fastened, so there's no chance of falling. The seats aren't very high off the ground either. You'll experience a gentle drizzle and pleasant fragrance, and there's no upside-down movement.
That is great, sometimes you get lucky and a low queue, I saw you put you didn't like it, at least it didn't take up too much of your day queuing, hope you had a great day out anyway
I am a wuss about fun fairs but I am taking my son and want to go on with him. How much does the chair move? There is a lot of screaming which scares me!
The gondola's you sit in don't actually move a great deal, they tilt forwards and backwards, but it is the immersion with the film that makes it feel like you are moving more than you are. There are also effects such as wind and fine spray of water that you don't get from watching this ride on video. The chair tilts forward slightly, you have wind blowing at you, the cinematic music and you are flying over the land, it all adds up to an amazing experience. We would recommend it, we were blown away by this ride when we first went on it and go it on everytime we visit Legoland. It is a gentle ride but I guess people scream when you fly over the land and there is a cliff edge, you never feel like you are falling though. Let us know if you go on it and what you think though of it.
@@PlanItPark I didn't trust it as it was the phone along but August I'm brining a bag this time, it feels more secure having something a bit larger than a metal sheet
The Flight of the Sky Lion is one of the safer attractions to leave bags as no one can get into the ride once it starts and when it ends you are facing your bag so no one can grab it without you seeing, but we agree with you, best take every precaution with valuables, and where possible, leave with a non rider or in a locker
Extremely clever well developed ride. However if you suffer from vertigo or motion sickness you may want to give it a miss as it made me my wife and 1 child feel extremely motion sick (the others loved it). Wish I could of enjoyed it but will not be going on again
That is a shame, as you said, it is a great attraction, i can't offer any advice to overcome that, unfortunately, videos don't really convey how much the ride moves around when you are actually on it.
It depends where you get to sit, the attraction being about 25 meters tall and there are 3 levels of seats with. If you are on the top level you are quite high up, not so much on the bottom level. With the screen being domed you don't really notice the height.
