Hey Guys,
Today we are going to be flying the HIGHLY anticipated @flightfactor 777 V2! We will be flying two sectors! first sector will be EGCC (Manchester) - EDDL (Düsseldorf) and the second sector will be OTHH (Doha) - OMDB (Dubai). This is definitely (along with the new Beta on Xplane 12 ) an incredible leap forward for Xplane. I own MSFS and I haven’t used it for a while. I’m in love with Xplane again.

Indeed it is. What FF have achieved here is incredible and its a brilliant simulation tool. I imagine it's particularly useful for a type rating. Haha its been a while since I've used MSFS too, been way to exited with all this new X-Plane stuff!

@@DrishalMAC2 does it have panel state save or do i need to restart from cold and dark (example) every flight ?

You can save and load many custom panels states :) and also many training scenarios. You can also change what the default "load in" panel state is

How did you get added to the beta? I sent an email to the org store asking to be added about 2 days after ff announced you could but they said no. I own 4 ff products and I sent proof but idk ahahaha

That was a livery done privately by a friend so unfortunately I can't share it at the moment. I'm sure someone will make one soon though :)

Not out yet, it's still in early alpha. Only some people have access at the moment. I got special permission from FF to stream it.

How is the fps compared to v1. Cause with the FF 777V1 my fps is so bad

I don't have the v1, but I can say the fps is much better than previous FF products :)

My guess it would be better however much has changed in the sim and computer hardware the last 10 years since V1 came out. Difficult for direct comparison.

It’s not properly released yet. It is in alpha and if you got selected then you could buy it. For the alpha you still had to buy it. I think it was around $70 if I remember correctly. They would never make it a free beta especially if public

@@DrishalMAC2 I only get around 25 fps with the FF 767 and the Zibo 737 with an i7-10700k, 2060 super and 40gb ddr4 ram (one slot is blocked by my cpu cooler lol), do you think the issue is my GPU then?

@@DrishalMAC2After watching your video I’ll be honest it feels very bland. FF usually do the best of the best but this looks like a half assed project. Little cockpit ambiance, bland texturing and details as well as basic robot AI voice lines. Definitely won’t catch me dropping $100 on this one. PMDG 🤞

Well that's your choice :) enjoy the PMDG, I do look forward to that too. But having flown this plane extensively i can say its definitely not bland and a HUGE improvement on FF's previous aircraft :)

How much time do you have on the 777? I'm talking in real life, because if your just a sim pilot you cannot possibly know anything.

Lol this is why I asked. Only a real 777 Pilot can really assess this and even then there's so many variables to consider. Considering Ramzzess, the head of FF, has a real world 777 type rating I'm included to believe its accurate. I'm looking to invite a real world 777 pilot on a stream at some point too.

Besides, Boeing opt does not recommend full thrust on lower weight. 220 on you speed mcp is too high for weight thats beyond the flap up speed😂. We only use that pitch for windshear or gpws. Maybe you should ready boeing fctm its free all over the net😂

I can't pm details on youtube. But feel free to message me on discord. If you are indeed a real world pilot then of course I would like to hear what you day about it. And yes you are correct about the mcp speed and derating. I'm not a real world 777 pilot and so may not be flying 100% to procedure. Another reason I did not derate is so that I could show off the sounds to the audience. I also have nothing to apologise for. I did not say you were wrong, and I didn't dismiss your opinion. I asked if you were a real world pilot so I know where you are coming from. Unfortunately on social media you can get a lot of people who have no idea what they are talking about start saying something is wrong, therefore I can't believe everything people say in the comments. Your comment didn't really provide much info or context into why you think it's not realistic. Please feel free to dm me on discord.

Is nobody actually going to admit just how bad the cockpit and cabin textures look? The quality reminds me of XP10 or 11 at a push. Anyone thinking otherwise is seriously deluding themselves. The cockpit has absolutely zero realistic 'feel' to it - almost cartoonish.

Nope looks brilliant in my opinion. RU-vid doesn't really do it justice but it looks very good and quite realistic in the simulator.
