Really enjoyed this one mate. We did flinders a couple years ago and this makes me wanna get back there ASAP. I think you may have found your niche in this flooded industry 👍
Thanks mate I had a ball making these 4 videos in the week we spent at the Flinders Ranges 😀 definitely something I could see myself doing more of in the future. Just need to wait for my channel to get a little bigger so I can actually afford more trips 🤣
Yeah we are absolutely flat out at work and I've already booked a week off at the end of next month to paint the hilux and also need to take time off for the 4wd show again. Doesn't leave much time for travelling unfortunately. But at least the hilux will finally look respectable 👍
I've been at least 20+ times through the Flinders in the past 50 years and this is probably the best video and drone coverage l've seen. Great commentary as well. You have made my mind up to go back in August. Many thanks. It's a pity it won't be anywhere near as good as 1989 for wildflowers though...
This is the Best Flinders Ranges video ive seen on youtube, top work mate, Would love to visit this place one day. Loved the music by the way, complimented the scenery very well !
Thank you for sharing your Flinders Ranges journey, spectacular images, great narration; the drone and eagle 🦅 story was great! I’ve been trying to get there for years and years; will do so one day ..
Great video mate! We absolutely love the flinders ranges and have been many many times and love discovering new things and places each time. So many places that you just want to stop and stare in awe of.
Great video, really enjoyed every minute. We visited The Flinders 3 years ago on our way home from Uluru and went to many of the places you highlighted. It is amazing country. We are planning to revisit again next year and this time doing some free camping. Thanks again for a great video.
Hi.This was a great video.I really enjoyed it and was thinking back to my visit many years ago.Looking forward to enjoyed more videos from your Channel and to new videos.ATB:Søren
Mate 3:26 now that was a breath taking views what a great content & combo music sure is hits my heart go out on wilderness with such a peaceful environment. keep it up mate you nearly here now Yeww!
I love the footage the drone captures 😍 I can get so much closer to everything I get angles I never could. It wasn't easy filming 4 videos in 1 week but I still absolutely loved it 👍
I had to try and edit all that yesterday lol. So much footage to go through. I still had heaps more great footage but it was already over 20 minutes lol
Only just recently found your channel. Loving your content and camera work. Drone footage is fantastic. You deserve more subs. You've won me. Great stuff.
Thanks for the tip mate 👍 we found it hard to go anywhere early this trip as there was so much moisture in the air each night it took hours for the rooftop tent to dry enough to pack up. So unfortunately we really only had half days to explore. Joys of sleeping in a rooftop tent in winter lol
Hey great video. Heading to the Flinders in March this year (2023). Looking forward to it. Just a question - where was the campsite right at the end ??
@@Campingdownunder Thank you - we were going to stay there a night anyway. Its just better than i anticipated. Thanks again keep up the good work 👍 love the vids
Yeah it suited some of it but by the end of the video I felt like it needed something different. Some people will love it though. You won’t please everybody! 🤷♂️. I’m subscribed and will keep watching love your stuff mate.
Great video!! Endless options when exploring the Flinders.Weve been for short trips every year for the past 10 years & still so much to see. Not sure if you found any info on the ruins with the glass? its known as the pub without a roof.... the old Tam O'Shanter Hotel. Beaut Little track through there.
I figured it must have been a pub at some stage lol. I actually said that in one of the clips but didn't add it to the video. I love that drive it's the second time I've done it 😀
Awesome video Paul... great drone footage... keep the video's coming...I've added this to my bucket list mate. 👍 Would there be any problems dragging a full off-road van along those tracks? Cheers
Cheers mate 👍 nah you could go along most of those tracks. But maybe not along the nuccaleena Mine site. Turning around at the end is quite tight as you can see in the video
Really enjoyed watching this. With the Nuccaleena Mine site, is the 2 hours each way from the start of, or from the turn off roughly half way along Glass Gorge Road? Another website said average time 6.3hrs but didn't say where from.
From memory it was around 2 hours each way from the turnoff. Sorry it's been a few years since I've been there now. But it's an easy drive. If my hilux could do it towing a camper trailer anything can do it lol
Great video! Can you post a pic of the rough route you took in today’s video? And rough time it took? We are looking to do something similar in a couple of months.
If you travel out of the national parks you'll be fine. Message weekendroaming on instagram. She's heading there in a few weeks with a dog. She may be able to give you some tips on where you can stay 👍
@@Campingdownunder Thank you very much for that info I really enjoyed the camerawork in your video. Just subscribed so will enjoy your earlier videos 👍😀
yearning to get there! just need another interested person and a vehicle as i am so technically deficient it will be suicidal to drive all the way from northern nsw...
I don't think bikes are allowed in Wilpena pound unfortunately. But you could always enquire. I know bendleby Ranges has plenty of mountain bike trails available 👍
we are heading to FR next week and I did see that someone did recommend old outback pub that is must to go, but can't remember the name, if anyone could help, please?
You are travelling through private property for a lot of the time - please be careful with dogs - there is aerial bating on the pastoral leases from time to time and be sure to tether your dogs so the stock and wildlife (and your dogs) are protected.
