I'm in the process of installing a couple of Anderson plugs in my 4WD. Currently running the cable from the engine bay to the rear of the vehicle. Is it possible to have one of the Anderson plugs setup in such a way so it will only become active when the accessories are active ? Possibly through a relay ?
@@Campingdownunder Is there a particular sized relay that I need to get for this install that you can recommend ? I'm still new to using relays and relying on my son's knowledge about them but he works and am in a slow mode to install them myself as I get the chance. Thanks

I have one more question, I have almost finished putting in one anderson plug which is connected via a relay but the second I want to be connected directly to my second battery so the power is constantly on for my fridge. Is it ok to connect it directly or is there a need to put it through a relay in some way so the power is constantly on ?

If this video is too difficult for you I'd recommend not trying it yourself. Get a professional to install it. You don't want to risk burning down your car

fantastic to see mate, great to see you find your feet again. and well done to Busselton Toyota too! great to see a company get behind its employees. just a thought but maybe consider doing some more technical videos with installs and wiring etc. especially since you do it everyday! share them little nuggets of knowledge that comes with knowing a platform inside and out. not often a master of his craft has a platform like this to share his knowledge. also 100% agree with the rim choice! I don't think there is a nicer factory wheel out there, my Boss puts them on all our field service Utes and they look a million bucks! looking forward to what's next!
Thanks mate 👍 if you go back through my older vehicles I actually have shared quite a few wiring videos trying to help people out and they did really well. I just have to be careful because showing people how to fit accessories can actually take work away from my employer so it's not something I can do regularly unfortunately. My very first video on RU-vid was actually me showing how to install a redarc charger. Recorded it with nothing but my phone 😂
